Pretty straightforward topic, vote for what you think is the easiest expert nine footer in In the Groove or In the Groove 2 to score. I don't care what's the easiest to pass, what's the easiest to get a good score on and stay consistent on. I've put up four options, if the overwhelming votes are for "other" then I will come up with some more. Feel free to post and debate your reasoning. _________________

I think Da Roots is the easiest 9 but I d think ROM-eo&JULIet is the hardest 9 up there. _________________

I'm gonna half to pull the "other" card and say Why Me Expert
Hey Kiba, if this poll does well, maybe you could make polls respectively for 10's, 11's, 12's, and then the 13's. I'm really curious to see the results.
My predicted results would have to be:
Da Roots
D-Code
Charlene
Vertex
???Controversy???
Lol, 13's change from person to person _________________

Eh, I'm going to have to disagree with some parts of your predicted results. I think most people would agree that for 10s, Wanna Do is a LOT easier to FA than D-Code. Xuxa is probably the easiest 11 to FA for most people. Vertex is probably fine for the 12s (for most people anyway...I'm a lot better at Go 60 Go and Delirium than Vertex). For 13s...eh...in terms of strict FA, probably Pandemonium, but it's so stamina draining it's hard to keep FAing it toward the end. Definitely not Vertex^2 though. _________________

I've never played Birdie or No Princess, so between the other two, I'd have to go with ROM-eo & Juli8. I score slightly better on that song than Da Roots (96.60% vs. 96.34%).
I already voted for ROM-eo & Juli8, but now that I think about it, I'll have to change my mind and say Disconnected ~Mobius Mix~ There are so many holds in that song, it's hard not to score well. So long as you can get the reverse crossovers in the middle (the trick is to double-step when the arrow isn't a hold and alternate feet when the arrow is a hold) and hop the mines at the end, it's a really easy song. |

I'd say Why Me Expert is definitely easier than all of the ones listed. Just 8th streams with a few sets of three 16ths thrown in now and then at a low speed. _________________

Birdie is my vote, but Da Roots is very close. It's a crapshoot which one I'll quadstar first. I recall playing some 9s that I thought were amazingly simple for their rating but I don't remember which ones anymore. I'd toss Disconnected -hyper- [H] into the mix if not for the funny sync at parts. And yeah, Why Me needed to be mentioned. Psalm Pilot is FA city also, but it wouldn't beat out something like Birdie. |

You know it's really easy to just alternate feet the whole song. There aren't any double steps in it at all. _________________

I always thought Ride The Bass was really easy. I don't think there's one crossover in the entire song. |

Because crossovers are what make a song difficult to score. _________________

I don't find Bloodrush difficult to score at all (outside of the slow part, but that's not hard because of crossovers). I can't pass it, but whenever I've attempted it I've scored pretty well on the parts that I get through.
Crossovers might make a song harder to score on something like The Beginning or Mythology, but in the environment of 9-block songs, nothing is really fast enough to make crossover patterns any more difficult than more straightforward ones.
There's also the matter of Ride the Bass being one of the hardest 9s to score, entirely because of the stupid purple note section that doesn't make any sense.
Plus, I don't think Da Roots has any crossovers either.
Even still there's the fact that many people consider Disconnected Mobius one of the easiest songs to score, and the whole theme of that song is crossovers. _________________

definitely da roots. and yes, easiest 10 would be "D-Code"...i can do most 9s, so it was pretty surprising when i figured it'd go for a 10 and get an S first try on D-Code...easy + catchy. |

Little Kitty Mine is pretty badly offsync (last I checked anyway), and D-Code, while very easy to pass, is in no way the easiest 10 to score; that title probably belongs to Tribal Style. _________________

No Princess is pretty straight-forward. There are no slowdowns like in Birdie that may catch someone off hand.
Also, gallopy parts aren't needed, as No Princess has pretty simple ones. However, Da Roots does have simple gallopy parts too.
Yet, overall -- No Princess is SO GODDAMN EASY. Plus, the song is better IMHO. _________________
