In some thread I mentioned pulling elements of PIU charts into ITG. Obviously, it's a little hard to facilitate with 4 arrows differently configured, but I think use of holds could still force the same end result. Use more patterns like Oasis where getting all the holds forces you to do some interesting or tricky patterns. Such a forcing of holds can also make Doubles infinitely more awesome.

I'm not a skilled player who thinks that there should be more 13's or that 10's are "too easy", so my only suggestion/request is more Crispy songs. (Secret ftw)

Wow, for like once I actually agree with Synaesthesia (lol jk)

Forced crossovers and stuff from holds are actually really cool. For that reason, I like the end of Bend Your Mind and ALL of Oasis. I mean seriously, if Oasis had the exact same steps but none of them were holds, then it wouldn't be a 10 nor should it be. The holds is what make it a 10, and applying that to coubles all PIU style (Nightmare ftl lol) would come out with interesting and fun charts.

(Another suggestion for ITG. Maybe not for ITG3, but eventually when the dancing community just gets better, ITG should come out with 14-footers and then after a few mixes with 14's come out with 15's and stop there. The harder the charts get, the more the true dancing game freaks will adapt to it.)

P.S. I just think 15 sounds cooler than 13 anyway laugh.gif
But if we ever went to 14's and later 15's, we would need something PAST Expert such as "Insane" difficulty or "Master" difficulty. That way you wouldn't come out with songs that are an 11-footer on hard and a 15-footer on expert. ZOMG huge gap. ALSO, that way you can keep Pandemonium's 13 stepchart and make it ALSO have a 14 stepchart with minefields and hella lots of jumps or something crazy like that.

For what it's worth, I can't pass any of the thirteens in the game and I still think there should be some fourteen's.

IMO 13s are pushing the boundaries of what people can do... which is why we need more of them E10.gif . Not that I can clear them or anything, but it's fun to try. Hell, I can't even clear July yet >______> (whoever said that was easier than the other 11s needs to be hanged, then shot for good measure)

yeah but i really dont think 13s are pushing the limits of what some people can do if kevin and lilQ can 98 pandemonium, 99 summer and like 90 Vertex^2 (which isnt as hard as the other two to apss its just BS streams and retarded mines) id love to see a song that they maybe couldnt S within a week or two of it being out, thats kinda why im worried about supernova, if it doesnt have at least 12s, or introduces marvelous timing into regular play the entire mix will be killed/AAA'd in a week literally, and then liek whats the point after that. I don't think 14s would be totally ridiculous for ITG3 and i gurantee Lil Q will probably have it S'd within a few weeks at most anyways. I think what might be a good idea is introduce the new difficulty but have it so its not necessarily harder then the expert step chart (like challenge mode of DDR) but rather takes a different rhytmic/techinical approach to the song. I think it'd be awesome if the came up with a song tha tlike had a freeze arrow thorughout the whole song and you had to hit arrows around the freeze arrow while holding it (obviously this freeze arrow would have to be worth alot more then a normal freeze to give people incentive to hold it). If they tried i could easily see Pandemonium being expanded to 14, same with hardcore of the north, hell I think even DDR songs liek Max 300 could be made into 12s in supernova (challenge steps anyone?). basically what im trying to say is, keep everything that they have so far, but add the more difficult and also alot of the more easier songs.

And yeah July is a doggy really, i can FA it reasnoably well since i suck at FA normally but it has alot of steps which makes it pretty tiring. I passed Delirium before i could pass July, its not the easist 11, not even close

the only thing i can really complain about is the usb drives on the dedicabs, and that is just probally a location thing....they run realllllly slow, even when you're the only person playing....other than that, im extremely satisfied.

How often is your machine reset? My understanding is if it goes for a long time between at least being reset (or turned off), the USB drive will load continually slower.

Way to totally change subtopics, but...
-I think that there should be more involving handplants, something that could be freestyled slightly into breakdancing.
-I am feeling like having some tempo/scroll rewinds mid-song. Either regenerating the steps or giving another chance to hit them. There would not necessarily have to be a perspective change, but there isn't much space above the arrow buttons. So either a perspective change or a lower speed. Or the same speed, if some stepchart designer wants to pull a 14 (I dare you to sight read VerTex at 612bpm with about an arrow's width worth of notice in reverse).

And instead of playing songs one after the other, each course is a mix of parts of various songs where you either play throughout for 5 or 6 minutes or have small breaks without arrows every so often during song transition. But it's one song and the music still plays... and the steps are unique to the course instead of having the same steps from the regular versions.

-I second that motion.
-Spiral scroll (oh boy).
-Improv sections, where you get points for stepping your own patterns. Say for instance there is an improv section. You hit URRLRRUDURLD even though there are no arrows. You get points based on how many arrows you step (not weighted much, since people would just drill), how diverse the steps are (some type of judgement system like an improved Chaos gauge), and how well syncronized they are (tough to judge, but less so than the chaos factor). Give the average player some creative power!
-Slides, in which the feet need to slide across the pad. No idea how they'd get it to work on a pad, though.
-Pulses. While holding a freeze you would have to add more pressure. (Inspired by the screwed up DDR Freak stepchart for Tell).
-Some song about ITG pwning DDR.
-More good classical remixes.
-You know how I mentioned better handplants? How about forced handstands (held quads with mines replacing the hold where the feet would probably end up in the quad...understand?)?
-Drinking fountains and fans on the machine itself would be cool but implausible.

That is all for now. Sorry (not really) about my huge posts.

Sensors are digital, not analog, IIRC. Pulses don't work. And a song about "ITG pwning DDR" would probably be bad business.
