|
|
I make banners for myself. I don't like the fact that if I make a 300x150 Banner I can't add a couple lines of text in my sig.
Also: I've made avatars for myself. I've made on for this site and I hated it due to the small size. The limit should be at the most 150x150.
Anybody else feel this way? |

i like it how it is
even 100 by 100 afitars are too in the way and wquite frankly the current sig size is just fine its at the point where even if the person makes a one line post the post itself is still about the same amount of space as the banner which is important for a non cluttered look (which keeps you from looking like yoru on a site that lets peope have 3 page long sigs) _________________

I personally think 100x100 avatars look better, and on all sites I've seen that use that size, they don't really get in the way or are obnoxiously large. 64x64 really shrinks down pictures that would look better at 100x100 _________________

100px x 100px is tolerable.
150x150 is certainly not. _________________

120 x 120 is not that much of a difference between 100x100 _________________

100x100 I'd consider. It's a pretty good standard on other places like LJ, but anything more than that would just be unnecessary. Why do you need that much space?
Bear in mind that it's not about restricting your creativity - it's about allowing users that don't have good connections to still read the site at an acceptable speed. _________________

That's why. But I guess I could make a 100 x 100 one and it would look good still. |

You can easily shrink that down to 100x100
It would look terrible at 64x64 tho _________________

If you can shrink it to 100x100, then use it at THAT.
I think the most it should be increased to is 100x100. I think signatures should stay the same. _________________

Signatures shouldn't get any bigger. The most annoying thing on boards is when there's 1000 pixel high signatures with 2,000 links and 1 couple hundred pictures. It's cluttered as EBT said (whoa I've agreed with him twice now).
Avatars shouldn't be bigger than 100x100, but il like them how they are now. |

Hey, don't question my choices. She's awesome. She's actually the main character of the PlayStation game Umihara Kawase Syun, which is a really awesome platformer. _________________

An increase from 65 to 80 makes absolutely no difference. Shrink that thing down if you want to use it.
I still say 100x100 would be great _________________

I think the avatar size should be how it is a my boards. 100x100 px.
Find one of my posts (My username is videoCWK) and see my avatar that I'd like to use here but can't. Its a good size. Its not distracting or anything, and it dosen't strech the skin or anything. |

| There's a slight problem with that.
1: I don't have a GIF editor
2: If I do it in paint, it will stop being animated. Kinda defeats the purpose, don't you think? _________________
