ITG without Kyle Ward?

I don't think I would like the game as much with him. Good Stepcharts. Love all of his songs. Him being Smiley, Inspector K, KAW, and Banzai (maybe but most likey not, ZiGZaG) There would have to be some other artists to fill that 18 song gap in ITG1 (sorry if I counted wrong). Plus I love ALL his music and it would not be the same without it. Since I dont play any other songs other than his (EX: Charlene, ZiGZaG's). Isn't he also the producer for the game? That means no ITG if it was not for him.

Share your opinions. If there was a thread about this, sorry, I did do a search.

Good riddance to the smiley stuff. KaW and Banzai were ok, but I don't think his leaving is going to hurt ITG3 when it's out.

There could be a while thread dedicated to "ITG without Utopia?"

Of course there could be another thread "Lost my right leg playing Utopia"

and "Suing those darn step designers for ruining that beautiful song!"

and then "Step Designers when legal battle! Creative license used as defense..."

But in all seriousness, it wouldn't be the same without him... and the stepchart for Utopia isn't all that bad, I'm just bitter because I die on the 1/16 run every time

What the crap does that right foot section of weirdness...even go to? Seriously? I slowed it down and put the "tick" on so I could hear the steps on the right rhythm and it STILL didn't really work with the song. Utopia is also one the coolest songs so I'm kinda pissed the stepchart consisted of C. Foy having a hangover all over the design of the dance steps.

I mean, I wouldn't complain if the expert was a 9-footer if it followed the rhythm. On the other side of difficulties, I wouldn't mind if it was a 12-footer just as long as it made sense. Utopia's expert stepchart just makes me sad because of it's waste of potential.

This is coming from a guy that is NEVER opinionated about stepcharts.

While I like the songs he composes, there's too much jumping in Kyle's stepcharts IMO. Take anything... Charlene, Kagami, Lemmings on the Run, My Favorite Game, While the Rekkid Spinz... I could go on. He seems to have the mindset that "since there's no 16th note run here, lets put jump-step-jump-step-jump..." Same old for TOO MANY SONGS.

I like his Anubis [E] though. One of his good ones since it isn't the same as all his others.

Conclusion:
Music = Good
Stepcharts = Bad
Kyle should stick to composing and let the others make more charts.

Those are his ITG1 charts though, which I tend to agree are not so good. His work in ITG2 is definitely more enjoyable.
