What's on your feet while playing DDR?

I wear nike shoes that all the tread has been wore off. Better grip.

i find that for the arcade, my nike shox work nicely (been using them even b4 they made that shox "DDR" commercial lol)

for grip, my legs and feet dont seem to tire out as fast with them. at home, good old toe socks for me

I find that sticking my feet straight through babies from the ass up gets great grip, but not enough to make it annoying. It is great. The only problem is some places don't like murder. So you might need to keep the baby alive on some IV's a such. It makes me look great though, and it's sooooooo much better looking than black with make up and all that crap... you queers.

At the arcade, I use whatever trainers I'm wearing. The ones I wear most often, well... I don't actually know what they are. At home, I currently wear socks, but my metal pad should arrive in the next few days and change that.

Question: How is playing bearfoot at the arcade accepted by players and management? Ive always played in my NB 580's, the only real shoes I have. I'm usually in flip flops. So when I go to the mall, I have to wear real shoes, which I'm not used to at all, and play DDR in them.

So I'm pretty sure shoes hinder me at the arcade. Obviously, I always play bare foot at home.

What I really want to do is just wear my FF's to the mall, walk over to the machine, kick them off, and play, but would other DDR players stone me and the management kick me out? Our machine doesn't have a No Barefoot sign or anything on it, so I assume...

I walk around barefoot all the time and I play at home on a modded soft pad, so I'm hitting a piece of plywood for hours at a time. My feet are pretty resistant.

Any help is appreciated, this concerns heavy only.

Well, since the arcade I go to is basically surrounded by dirt and gravel (Often mud and snow), they have a no-outdoor shoes policy on DDR. So you can either bring a second pair of shoes of play in your socks.

I've gotten used to playig in my socks.

At home I put on some socks. At the arcade I usually have sneakers on. One time I had cowboy boots on so i just took them off.....

anything thing that's gonna stay on my foot......i usually play with skate shoes (cause that's what i wear) or these skinny boxing shoes they work great.....

At the arcade I use my puma speedcats. Very light, almost feel like dance slippers.

On my cheap home pad I usually go barefoot.

I have no idea how people play ddr in skate shoes.
When I go out in my skate shoes not intending to play ddr, and then come across a ddr machine and play in those shoes, I can barely walk afterwards. It makes ddr so much harder than when I play in my nikes.
