Some songs are from other Bemani games. If they're on the American Beatmania, then I'll be glad.

The Safari-Lion Musashi
S.O.S (The Tiger Took My Family)-Dr. Bombay
MGS Main Theme-Espacio Brothers
Mind Your Step!-Handsome Jet
Cosmic Cowgirl-Toshio Sakurai
Stop This Train-Thomas Howard Lichtenstein
Hitoniyasashiku-Handsome Jet (Ya get a cookie if ya know how to say that)
Classic Party 1-3 & Triathlon-Hideyuki Ono
Bit Mania-Akira Yamaoka
Linn 1999-DJ Nagureo
Another World-Naoto Fuuka
Memories-DJ Taka
P.P.R-Handsome Jet Jr.

That's all the Bemani stuff. Now normal stuff:
Pretty Fly (For A Rabbi) or anyother song from Wierd Al
Wizards of Winter-......don't know
Some anime music/theme songs
Turkish March from Donkey Konga
Rock Lobster on PS2 (I know, Ultramax 3)
Milkshake (Can ya imagine a girl dancing to "Milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard & they're like..."It's better than yours!"?)
1985(either that or it's 1984)-Bowling For Soup(This right?)
Ready, Steady, Go!-FMA theme

"Every Time We Touch" by Cascada. The first time I heard this song my first thought was that it would be fun to play on DDR and I started making up steps in my head to it. I hope somehow Konami see's this and put's it on the next console and possibly arcade game.

I would suggest Beethovan virus, from FlashFlashRevolution. It would be an addition to speed over beethovan, because it to is a fast paced song. It is short, but maybe making it harder will cover for the song time?

Lose Control - Missy Elliot
Milkshake - Kelis

To The Beat Of My Heart - Hilary Duff
Vertigo - U2
New Year's Day - U2
1, 2, Step - Ciara
Since U Been Gone - Kelly Clarkson
Get The Party Started - Pink
Man! I Feel Like A Woman - Shania Twain

But what you don't get is that:

1. Konami would need to license the music.
2. All the songs you chose suck.
3. There would be NO good stepfiles possible, besides maybe Lose Control with the "boneyard" background music.

Banya made that song. Banya is an artist for PUMP IT UP.

Anyway, I'd like to see some Aphex Twin or Autechre in a future DDR mix. And definitely some DM Ashura/SGX stuff.

ALSO: Hellscaper, Absolute (Rock Guitar), Brace Yourself, Burning Heat (Full Option Mix), AA, V (Heavy Beat Remix), and Quasar. Almost all Beatmania/IIDX songs, all good.

A good one for DDR would be Dirty Harry by Gorrilaz, since it would be quite hard and the beat would be perfect!

You kinda sorta really need to learn to spell. MCR is emo, and no one wants to dance to emo music. I can't even imagine the pittance that would be the stepfiles to some of their crap.

People should be warned for every mainstream song they suggest in this thread. Vertigo, My Chemical Romance, and Pink Floyd all suck, they're all mainstream, and none of their songs will ever get into a rhythm game so stop asking. If you really want to get some licensed rock, go with Rhapsody, Warmen, Dragonforce, Stratovarius, Joe Satriani, etc.

Llooking through my collection of old CDs and compmp games, I realized Konami helped develop the Frogger remake way back in 1997 (oh so long ago), and a lot of the songs from it are very danceable. Plus, they should get in some good old jazz - hard bop can be perfect for DDR. I also recommend (for liscences) Pink, Monster Magnet, the Countdown Dance MAsters, the Quad City DJs, and some good old musicals stuff, a la DDR w/Mario, but not remakes, actual dance numbers pulled straight from the stage (Too Darn Hot from Kiss Me, Kate, fror example).

...and some more anime stuff. Cowboy Bebop, anyone?

I agree on all these
but I downloaded Burning heat (Full option mix) for sm
it doesn't sound much different than the (3 op mix) ((unless the person I got it from used the wrong mix))
but it could work as a challenge mix though

BHFOM is basically the same as BHTOM, but with a more solid, full sound, and longer intro/outro.
