I am 12 years old and have been playing DDR actively for 4 months. I play mostly on Standard (5 or 6 footers), which I think is pretty good considering I am really unfit. I'm trying to accomplish passing all standards songs with a B or above before next year.

you shouldnt think of yourself as unfit, that can sometimes lead to selfesteem issues, if you are 12 years old, and not over 220 pounds, your fit in my book. Anyways, for only four months of DDR and on standard, thats not that bad, have fun and keep on playing.

well hello everyone! I'm happy to be a part of the DDR Freak family, it's nice to find a place thats all about DDR, I love this game!! I guess you can say I've been a "DDR Freak" since fall of '02. I was still in tech school for the Air Force at the time when a dear friend of mine took me to an arcade to show me how to play DDR. He had already mastered the songs on the hardest settings but still had a good time showing me the ropes, I loved it even tho i suxed really bad then lol. Couldn't get enough DDR and as they say the rest is history! I'm in Fayetteville NC, which sux 'cause there's no DDR machienes here lol, just the knockoff wannabe versions of DDR in the arcades here. Anyone here from Fayettenam and kno of any DDR machienes that might exist in a little known location? i'd havta say that my fave songs from the ddr games are the Captian Jack ones, they've always got a fantastic beat and are always amusing, I'm quite fond of Heaven is a 57 too, I like most of the songs its just those songs in particular always stick with me, nehoo thanx for having me and i'm looking forward to meeting you all!!

I've been playing DDR for about 5 years now, since around 2001, 2002. I have just about every DDR game there is to know about, including all the non-english/non-dubbed ones. I pretty much ace 3/4 of the songs on any DDR. When I'm looking for challenges I usually goto my local arcade and pick some people who look good. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, what can I say? I play english ones the most...
Songs I find easiest: Slow songs; Oops, I did it again, like that.
Songs I find most fun: Air; Cartoon Heroes; Tsgaru; Burning Heat!; A, etc.
Songs I find hardest: A few songs in the "Max" series; (Mostly Maxx Unlimited, which I'm hoping to ace soon! ,etc.

I hope to enjoy things hanging out here for a while. I think I'll stay
