Yeah, I use 3 or 4 syllables to pronounce monosyllabic words, too.

If you name your kids something like Sakura, won't other kids make fun of them? Because unless your from Japan or you play DDR they won't understand the refrence.

It doesn't matter if they don't understand the reference. I could name my kid Soapy Bubble and just because people don't know it's a song from ITG doesn't make it a better name.

If your kid was Japanese then people would understand. Otherwise you're just torturing kids by naming them weird names. My parents named me a weird name and I've never forgiven them for it.

wasnt sakura the name of the main character in card captors and it means cherry blossoms and yes it would make a good girl name so yeah u dont hafta take my word for it its your desizun
