It seems this thing (redoctane ignition with dense foam insert) is broken already and I bought it new less than two weeks ago. I'm only a beginner (so not hard on the pad), played only about ten hours on it when it went crazy. The front arrow works only sporadically and the menu cycles wildly and non-stop - even when I get off the pad.
It's warranty MUST be more than two weeks long. Has anyone had any experience returning bad pads for new ones? Thanks. |

Does your foam fit really loosely inside the pad? I just bought a new 3.0 from Best Buy in the newflame packaging, hoping it would be the most up to date version of the pad but I'm kind of disappointed.
We have 2 version 2.0 pads at the school I work at that were donated by Red Octane, and they are great. The foam fits very snug inside the pad, it's keeps the surface of the pad very smooth and flat. On this new pad, the corners and middle feel very soft and squishy. The buttons are good but the rest of the pad feels puffy and flimsy.
It seems like this new version will go bad much more quickly, like yours did. I'm considering returning mine due to poorer quality than I expected. |
