Julie, I've played a bit up north/central Jersey. Seaside Heights once in a while and once at some place in Toms River. Saddly I've never been to The Break, but I hear about it all the time.

isn't like hurtpiggypig the best ITG/DDR girl? she has like 98+% on vertex i think, and AAA'd a bunch of DDR 9s and stuff, well as far as i know she the best but i could very well be wrong

She was in the Recall Top 200 until recently, without having a PSMO score filled in and not updating her scores for months, so I'd say she's probably one of the best.

I know girls are good at arrow stomping, but in my area I don't really see many of them. This is probably because girls aren't as competitive towards each other as guys are. Guys fight for male supremecy while girls know how to get along, ( thats how I percieve it) this is the cause of not seeing many girls in the arcade that can FA 10's and such, but they defentally do exist, alot of girls in my area just preffer to play home because they dont feel like wasting $.75 per game( hey and thats very smart with the amount I spent in the arcade I could buy another metal pad.)
Yeah most girls that play DDR here have lives and don't play that much in the arcade yup yup.

I'm a girl, i've been playing ddr since 2002.
Best acomplishments:
10 greats to Max 300 heavy mode.
Can get one more extra stage.
AA PS 270 Shuffle.
AAA:
Max 300 standar stealth.
Twilight zone, Rhythm and police, Afronova heavy shuffle.
So deep, Healing vision A.M, Captain Jack, Xenon heavy.
CSFILSM, Do you remember me, Fantasy (Melisa) heavy double.

I guess this will be my last ddr year, i'm so sad.

i have no time for games anymore...

For starters, I'm a girl.
I play heavy, and I can beat any 9 footer you throw at me. I use some mods, so I'm not dependant on easy reading. I've been playing a few years. And I agree. The majority of players are boys, but when a girl comes in a woops some 4ss. Wooooo.

Either sex can be just as good as the other, so the point, don't doubt girls who play anymore than you doubt guys.

And by the way, i think girls don't need to be subestimated at any game, there are the ones who play better than guys and there are others who play worse, no big deal. It's an attitude and dedication fact.

I think it's funny when I go up to play ITG and all of the guys just laugh.
It's true though that guys underestimate girls playing, unless they're asian.
You have to admit, they're good at everything. =p
But anyway, a couple nights ago I played Romeo & Juliet on doubles, hard.
Yeah hard, blah blah blah.
But when I finished with a 98% they didn't really have much more to laugh about.

And from what I understand, this topic is a sensitive one and I'll get some bashing or whatever for this, but I can't wait.
Makes things interesting.

I'm a girl and I've pretty much AAed or AAAed every song on DDR Extreme (yes that includes 10s). I play itg and I'm up to 11s right now. I never play at home... only at arcade. I think there are a decent amount of good female players in the Midwest. I think ;-)
