Here's my experience, now these are true occurences, if I sound sexist, deal. These are completely true.

Girls seem to flood the arcades and play Beginner and Light......forever....
Guys don't seem to play as much, but usually get to at least Heavy.

THIS ISN'T ALWAYS TRUE AND I KNOW THIS!!!!

In girls defense, I've seen a girl pass PSM
In guys defense, I was playing with her and beat her score

lets face it who are the majority of the ddr players you talk about most boy ddr players right atleast i do so everybody has different opinions but i think that most people say that boys are better overall.

I come back to the forum after a short break, and this is what I find; I don't know why I left . This has to be the most entertaining thing I've seen in a while.

I think the whole argument of which gender is better can't be simplified to "boys have more stamina" or something like that. The question should be: if a male and a female who were equally athletic and similar in size, and were given an equal amount of time to learn DDR, who would be better at the end?

Otherwise, it's just based on what society tailors us to be. Guys are "supposed" to be more athletic and competitive than girls.

I feel like I just said something stupid in my attempt to make an intelligent comment, but I don't know what.

i will never believe that Girls are better @ DDR until i see one in person...i have NEVER seen one girl do max 300 or any other 10 footers....and even on google i put search for it....nothing...so until i play a game w/a girl that can beat me or if i see one w/my own eyes,ill belive that Girls are good @ DDR

I think StealthGuardian is on the right track in this debate. honestly I think girls are slightly more attuned to being able to catch on to beats, but the reason that guys tend to be better players is becuase more of them take it seriously and they practice alot more. 2 of my friends that are girls play ddr. One of them only like 2 times a week, and the other for about 45 minutes a day. There ok and can pass most 5 foot songs but anything harder then that and they are flailing on the mat. Not because they don't have rythm, but because they don't practice as much. If a girl practiced as much as a guy and took it as seriously I honestly think she would beat him. Not by a ton but maybe the difference between a A and a B.

P.S. This was not meant as a dis to you girls that do take it seriously. kudos to you for playing so hard!
