I want to start playing Guitar Freaks

I recently bought Guitar Hero, and then was looking around here and saw that there was a more "pro" game called guitar freaks that was in the arcade. I want to get started, but I didn't know if there was a guitar freaks game for the ps2 (english), and where to buy controllers and the like. Is there a GF game that I can play on my computer besides digiband (got that already).

Guitar Freaks only went to 1st Mix arcade only, never any home release in the U.S (although there is a test version of 2nd Mix, I think only Konami has it). You're going to be stuck importing either 1st or 2nd Mix for PS1 or 3rd or 4th (and in Spring GFV) for PS2 from Japan only.

And I don't know if the controllers are compatible with each other either.

Sadly, nope. They've got GF 4th mix on PS2, but only in Japan, so you'll need to check Ebay.....DANG, I wanna live in Japan!!!!
