I'm actually surprised that Madcatz made the PIU Exceed dance pad. :O

It's way better than the DDR softmats.

They didn't really; it was designed by Andamiro. MadCatz just modified it for the US release, hence it sucking in comparison to the Korean version.
It's still better than the other soft pads by far, but not as good as it should be.

The pad is good, considering it's madcatz. Madcatz has the crappiest products out, usually. I was suprised.

I guess there's no way to use a DDR pad? How do you play it on a controller, then? I'd buy it, but I modded my DDR softee, and it'd be hard to go back. I'd imagine its no easier to play heavy songs on PIU than DDR on a softee?

no you cant use a ddr pad period (CF had theoretcly a PIUable pad but it only works with PC versions due to a lack of forsight on CFs part) you use the sholder buttons for the corner arrows and i forget what for the middle arrow and PIU is in general far far harder than ITG or DDR so the high end songs are less doable but then again you probalby codlnt do the high end songs anyway so its not a point
