I figured out a better way to keep your dance pad from sliding and how to keep it from messing up. You don't need to staple it wood, or "mod" it. Buy one of those clear mats that you put under thick rugs (the kind with the teeth on the bottom) and use duct or clear packing tape to tape the pad to the mat (you don't really need the tape, but it might help a little more). The teeth on the mat will hold the pad still. If the mat is flimsy, you can tape a piece of cardboard to the mat, then tape the pad to the cardboard on the mat, this will to the same thing wood does, but cheaper and simpler. Also, I know a bunch of people here that are complaining about their pad messing up. That's what I like to call stupid . When you fold the pad up, you risk killing the sensors. My solution: don't fold it up to begin with! Most people sleep on beds, right? Well, when your done playing DDR, simply slide the pad under your bed. If you have one of those freaky beds that sit flat on the floor and you can't slide stuff under there, I'm sure you have a closet or some place on the floor where you can put the pad. Just clear out a corner in your room and lay the pad flat on the floor. _________________

Oh okay your talking about soft pads I assume, you can't really bend a metal one, and if technically you are "modding" the pad with all that duct tape. _________________

Yes, I am talking about softpads, because that is what most people have. Okay, it is modding, but its a new way, and not as permament. _________________

Hahahaha. You are in fact modding it. "modding" is shortened from "modifying" which does not specify the use of staples. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]
