I already have stepmania and the In the Groove theme on my computer, it works perfectly fine. There's another computer I want to put it on, but when I do the arrows look very blipped out and when they scroll up the don't look normal at all. I can directly put all my stepmania files on the other computer or install it with the exe file, but either way I still get the messed up arrows. Sometimes if I'm lucky, when I install it the arrows are fine, except that they're on flat mode pemamently. If I use the robot noteskin it works fine, but metal doesn't. My computer runs on windows XP and the other one runs on Windows 98. Hope you can help me! Here's a picture of what the arrows look like.

I take it that your Windows 98 is up to date with all the lastest updates?? Also what about your video card drivers?? Make sure that everything has all the lastest drivers then see what it looks like after installing some new updates. |

Maybe try changing your screen resolution and see if that helps? What's happening is with SM, the arrows without skins are just plain arrows scrolling accross the screen. When it reads a noteskin, it applies the graphic to overlap directly with that arrow. Your arrows just aren't reading the graphic correctly. Either that or try replacing the noteskin files. _________________

Uhhhh..my windows 98 does not have the latest updates and my video card doesn't have the latest drivers. It's not even connected to the internet o_O So I guess I better get busy. I'll have to try changing my resolution and see if that helps too. Thank you. _________________
