Why not Max300?

I can pass Energizer (hard), but not Max 300. Wtf?

Energizer hard has shorter streams and a break in the middle that isn't a freeze/complete stop. I'm in the same boat as far as consistency goes.

Along the same lines of what the previous poster said, after the pause in MAX300, it breaks out into 1/8th runs again almost immediately, whereas Energizer hard's slowdown keeps you moving, and then is followed by a 1/4th note run.

personally i think the same was in reverse for some time when we first got our ITG 2 machine... I could pass the maxes on our extreme machine... but energizer hard is harder than max 300 in my opinion. I think the fact that it has harder runs than max 300 would make it actually easier to pass max 300... where it has smaller runs compared to energizer

hahaha, well that actually seems quite odd, i fine energizer hard much more difficult than max 300 in some ways.

I can pass both and I defintly find energizer hard alot more challenging mostly because the runs are a bit longer. The only reason max 300 is so much more of a problem for me is because the DDR pads suck compared to the ITG pads so I have to press alot harder and I use alot more energy on it.

Without the bar:
Energizer hard is more technically difficult, whereas Max 300 is just a bunch of streams that are like RURURURLRU with the occasional group of candle steps thrown in.

With the bar: Max 300 is incredibly easy to score on, Energizer not as much.

Winner (more difficult): It depends! On whether or not you have the stamina to do Max 300. Energizer requires less energy, ironically, but is more tricky and difficult to read. Max 300 is easy to read but is pretty brutal in that it just doesn't let up for the entire song. I would say once you have the stamina and the reading skills for both they're about equal.

I can pass Max 300 with no bar, but I can't pass Energizer (hard, no bar). Max 300 is nothing but simple runs and triple gallops. A few twists, but not much. Energizer (hard) is brutal with twisting, plus minds. And that lame 70bpm part I KEEP FREAKEN failing. <.< Then again, I only started playing Energizer (hard) yesterday, where as Max 300 I've been trying to pass the past month. Maybe in another I'll have it passed. To bad I didn't have a good chair or something to bar rape with. :/ Then I know it would be passed.

I can almost AA max 300 and S Energizer hard (Sightread). They are both easy >_>

Ok here, I find Energizer a little harder in some aspects and Max300 harder in others... Overall Energizer is harder tho.

I fail Max300 during the 8th runs... pretty much always. I've never made it past the freeze. That's why I find it strange, that I can do the 8th runs in Energizer just fine, but when I try Max300 I can't get them down.
