Tell you what: I might be able to transcribe it in a week or two if you can be patient. I don't personally have an online computer, so it'll take awhile to post. _________________

Thanks. There's no rush, I just think it'd be cool to have the piano music. _________________

Well, here it is: http://us2.pixagogo.com/S5WEFDyOsCkf1sTpMRY6wRttAVzMTWziKHePyZAeeDQre6P1uziUKXTnyCFJhpj6l7Wi8Oz-ryFy50hLEM!Q5-l03wktdozHsZuivRd!ViY-s_/UtopiaPiano.jpg
I had to really rush it a little bit, so the two main problems are that some lines are longer than others and the clefs/key signature are only displayed on the first line. This shouldn't be a major issue, though, because the song never changes keys. It's also a pretty huge picture, so be prepared to have to print multiple pages of it.
But considering that I only had MSPaint to work with, I think I did a pretty good job. _________________

I LOVE YOU!!! Utopia is my favorite ITG song musically (actually orbably tops anything in DDR). I wouldn't mind a piano only or perhaps orchestrational version. PLaying Utopia in band would only be the coolest thing ever (high hopes for football season '06!). JK, but that would be sweet. Not that it would make that great of a marching band song.
OOO, I just thought of something. I can use a music composition program to make that look a little prettier and fix some problems. It should be a few weeks before my school gets the Music cpu lab up and running, but once it is, I will plug this in. |

I cropped it down into five seperate files, each fitting onto one page. It took about a minute extra, but I didn't feel like messing around with printing settings. |

Try copy-pasting it instead of clicking the link, Phantasm. That sometimes helps. Also, you might try right-clicking on it and going to "Save Target As." That also might solve the problem. _________________

with that, i can input the notes into a notation program, save as a MIDI, and edit the MIDI in a sequencing program. then assign sound modules to the different tracks for any kind of sound (anything to keep it from sounding like a normal crappy MIDI), and record the audio into another program, cut and edit as desired, and record to CD.
too bad i'm done with my electronic music projects for this semester, or i'd make a remix of utopia. *snaps fingers* _________________
