|
|
Hey i was just thinking, wouldn't it be great if DDRFreak had a simfile database? Think about it: instead of making a bunch of threads on where to find simfiles, just go to the database and see if it's there! Members can continually post simfiles or links every day, so if you find an interesting simfile you can share it with the DDRFreak public! This way everyone is happy, and beginners don't have to waste their post limit on a locked simfile thread! Wouldn't that be AWESOME!?!?! |

Our simulators forum is dead. Everyone left. It wouldn't be that popular.
Go to FFR or BMS. |

All that needs to happen; one site somewhere decides to create an organized and complete database of ACTUAL stepfiles from ACTUAL games. It's impossible to find all of the songs from release X anywhere. Sure DDRUK has 9 or 10 from each game in a torrent, but you have to hunt for the rest.
So, how about a few members interested in seeing something like this vulunteer and get a website going. Then we could post the link in the "where to find simfiles" thread and you could actually find all of them in one place. BemaniStyle and FFR are great for originals which will probably turn out to be crappy... but there's no where to get a lot of actual DDR songs. |

If someone were to put that website together, Konami would have it shut down before it got complete. _________________

DDRUK has everything; you just don't understand how the bumper packs are organized.
Songs appear in the bumper pack for the game in which they first appeared. Therefore, the DDR Extreme bumper pack will only contain songs that first appeared in that game. Paranoia and Butterfly are in the 1st Mix bumper pack, because that's where they first appeared. It doesn't matter that they've been in a dozen other games since then; if the steps and music didn't change there's no need to repeat them.
If you need to know what bumper pack a particular song is in, just check the damn list. Seriously, check the list. |
