Not sure if this is frowned upon, but I did it with my Japanese DDR Extreme CD and was wondering if it could be done with DDR Extreme 2 (US)?
I forget how I did it before, but it involved Command Prompt, and bringing up all the songs and sending them to a foler where they were labeled "filedata000" and I ended up having to listen to them all and name them accordingly since they were in no specific order.
Just wondering if anybody knew the specifics to do this.
[EDIT]: If you do know, but are too scared to post here for fear of ban/warn then PM me or ask for my e-mail. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get warned for this...but I'm desperate its all I can do from loading the game and just recording it while it plays. _________________

Hmmm yes, that is how I did it last time I remember now. Thanks for digging that up. But instead of having one FILEDATA.bin, Ex2 has many DATA00/DATA01/DATA02's instead of 1 file. I'll check with the v2brip software to see if they've updated it. _________________

Ok, I did the deed and it's all there and dandy. So for anyone that wants to do it here's a little tut:
- Download "Vb2Rip" and move it to: C:\DDR\ (It'll make things simpler later)
- Insert DDR Extreme 2 (US) into Drive Bay, Locate FILEDATA.BIN, FILEDT02.BIN, FILEDT03.BIN, FILEDT04.BIN. And copy them all to: C:\DDR\
- Now open Command Prompt (Run -> cmd), and type: cd C:\DDR\ (This should take you to your DDR directory)
- Type: vb2rip (this runs vb2rip, and make sure all the text flys up and all)
- Then type: vb2rip -fmt vb2 filedata.bin
- It will then proceed to rip all the songs to C:\DDR in .wav format, but you need to do the same process for all filedata.bin files, so 4 times in total typing these different commands:
vb2rip -fmt vb2 filedata.bin
vb2rip -fmt vb2 filedt02.bin
vb2rip -fmt vb2 filedt03.bin
vb2rip -fmt vb2 filedt04.bin
- Then just convert, and enjoy. _________________
