MixMeister can be very inaccurate.

mixmeister might help on slower songs, but once bpms get to around 170ish it starts cutting them in half and other weird things. It also doesn't take into account speed changes

It thought pandemonium was about 93.x bpm

Use Mixmeister and if it's WAY off you need to manually find the bpm. It's really not as hard as people think it is. Play on a slower rate and change it until it sounds on beat. Use assist tick to be sure. Now go enjoy your simfile creations.

If u need something to check your BPM, use X-Step. Many people have difficulty using it, but when mixmeister fails, thats the way i've been going

mixmeister isnt inaccurate
alls u gots to do is if you say, for ex., measure the bpm Pandy, u get 93.XX. All u do is just times it by 3 or 4 if its a fast song

i measured the BPM of M1dy's Face Is, i got ~94.XX all i did was quadruple that and it matched just fine

winbpm isn't accurate...you're basing the bpm on hearing...

i'm not sure about mixmeister, but...

dancing monkeys, though known for creating random steps, is also a great tool for finding the bpm....hasn't failed me yet, gets the bpm dead on.

When Mixmeister has the wrong BPM, it doesn't always just reduce it to a nice easy-to-multiply number, though. It once read that a round 180 song was, like, 102 point something, for example.
