How long does your pad last? Do you have an ignition/foam insert pad or flat pad?

If you play heavy, how long does an ignition pad last.
Or, about your flat pad.

My RO ignition pad has been lasting 8 months and counting and still has no sign of dying out.

I'm just curious.

Well, I had two Ignitions (a v3 and then a v2). Both went about 2-3 weeks before I started getting phantom steps, stuck arrows, rips, etc. (I was playing on Heavy, BTW, but mostly 6-8 footers at the time). I had a $20 softpad which I modded and used for about a month. It never broke, but it was spectacularly crappy. biggrin.gif Then I got two CFs. I've had them for about 5 months, and they work every bit as well now as they did right out of the box. <3

My Ignition 3.0's only last three weeks if I'm lucky, and I play in the 7 to 9 footer range.

Save yourself some heart ache and buy a Cobalt Flux this Christmas biggrin.gif

I had a pair of flat softpads with thin paneling on the bottom last for 4 months each and My TX-2000's are going on 14 months (completly reconstructed and rewired at 10 months). I built a thick wood based lesxan topped flat pump pad and the same with a konami flat pad last night and we'll see how they turn out.

I had a cheap third party ignition pad from lik-sang, and I started getting ghost steps after a couple weeks (the left arrow completely stuck after a month or so), then I built a metal pad just over 2 months ago and it's been working perfectly ever since

Various soft pads: Still work as of 2 years ago, but aren't worth using because they move too much.
2 different TX-1000: Less than a month each.
RO Ignition pad: 4 months and still working beautifully.

My pad usually only lasts about 4 or 5 hours, but I can get 8 hours out of one on a good day

I dont get how people can break their ignitions or soft pads so easily. I've been playing for four months with the $20 soft pads and they still work perfectly, and I play on heavy.

I have some BNSUSA pad. Arrows fine as long as you actually step on them (barely touching the edges will not do, which is perfectly fine) and the back messes up occasionally.

Ebay for 140 bucks. lol.

Hm, I would say my TX1000s and the RedOctane one I have lasted about 3-4 weeks before they broke and forced me to learn how to repair them. Every two weeks now I have to repair them because something goes wrong. Solder, duct tape, aluminum foil tape, old socks... and more duct tape... those are my weapons.

my soft mats lasted about a year (woot woot!) i got an intec pad with a foam insert, and its up arrow started to mess up after only about 2 weeks. Took it back and got another one, this one is messed up now, and i lost the receipt so cant take it back again. Up and back arrow are double hitting now, and its ripping on the inside. so i'm stuck with this thing until $300 magically appears in front of me. MUST GET COBALT FLUX! btw i play on heavy 9-10 footers and junk like that.
