A DIFFERENT sort of VertexÂ² question.

Say, I was wondering if anyone happened to know the time signature in VertexÂ². More than anything else, that throws me off on this song, as it is clearly not written in 4/4 time. It sounds like it alternates 5/4 and 4/4 throughout the song, but I wanted to know for sure. It would just help me count the steps out in my head that much more.

I think it's in 14/4 time. I could be wrong, though.

I pretty certain the entire song it in 4/4. Except, of course, during the freezes with hands part and the chaos part after it, which don't really have a time signature. Just listen to the music. There is almost always some kind of sound that repeats every four beats.

It sounds like it is but in all reality, it's just a faster, or slower 4/4.

yeah, it's 4/4 the enitre song except the 2nd slowdown. at that point i don't know.

I was mostly just curious. I might consider it sometime, but it's mostly just a percussive song, so it wouldn't lend itself to sheet music very well, in my opinion.

They just mess with the phrasing, not the key signature. The tempo changes confuse the crap out of people who are just listening, but if you had a visual of the tempo (sup Stepmania?), you can tell it's 4/4 the WHOLE song.
