From my experience, no, there's not. They are good for about 2 months max. I've gone through 5 pads, trying a slightly more expensive type each time, and the trend doesn't fail. The latest pad I tried was the Ignition 3.0, which died in 54 days. It was really comfortable and responsive until then, but for the money, it's not worth it. Needless to say, I've given up on finding an alternative. My Cobalt Flux is already ordered and being built. |

TX4000 is wery cheap(about 130$) and has a reasonable quality. No one has complaned or had problems with this yet. In this model the arrows are made from metal so atleast the arrows wont break. The sensors are also quite big(bigger than tx1000 and tx2000 had) but they still work with conductive foil. After the sheet metal mod I can't think of any weak spots. I know wery well that CF is better than this pad but it also costs 3 times more. Everyone can't afford for it and TX4000 will give reasonable quality for wery cheap. I already ordered TX4000 and I will give feedback once I will get it.
And one more thing: Dont critisize TX4000 just because TX1000 and TX2000 were bad. TX4000 is totaly different from them and doesn't have same components. And I hate people who judge before testing. Sadly many people say that CF is the only usable pad. The fact is that there are also other pads with almolst as good quality(after sheet metal mod) and for much cheaper! TX4000 has clean reputation so far!
Wannabes who say that CF rules and all other pads suck are so annoying. I just hate them. I am not saying that CF is bad, but it is surely overprased. PEOPLE! There are also other pads than CF. |

I also read that the TX-4000s are worth a try. I'd say, as Snouman mentioned, that's probably the best alternative if CF costs too much for you. They haven't been around long, so there's not many wear and tear reviews yet, but they sound all right so far. |

well as i saw on some reviews, all the reviews were positive (about the TX-4000) and many people said it was great and that it was ''unbreakable'' in fact... so only the time will tell us if this pad worth it... _________________

Ok, you know these three detail fact. Good Information
1. Arrows will not break.
2. Sensors are bigger than TX1000 and TX2000.
3. it is still conductive foil.

How can you so sure about this product when you do not even have this metal pad yet? |

Well I have read this forum and so far 3 people have been having good experiences with this pad. I admit that 3 people is little, but there aren't any people with negative experiences. Judging from this, TX4000 is atleast worth of trying.
TX4000 is good option to buy if/because
1. You don't want to spend 400$ in CF
2. TX4000 might be even better than afterburner
3. Good quality for very low price
E: wery --> very
