First, hello to all i'm new here!
Secondo, I have a problem. I made my own pop n' music controler but I don't have connected the wires for now. In a guide (http://www.shapermc.com/popn/popnasc.html) I saw a picture with color button and is matching button. But, when I play with a regular playstation controler it's not the same. For exemple, in the game if I want to pop the red button I hit the square but on the guide the red button is L1. Why?

P.S.: Sorry if the syntax ou vocabulary is not right .... My first language is french....

the reason is because the pop'n music controller is wired differently so its identified from being an actually pop'n music controller vs a ps2 dualshock.
THe pop'n music controller is hardwired so it's always "pressing" the left button(i think... some directional button...).
thats why. Just follow the guide... that guy has it right.
if you have any more questions you should probably refer to a different board, like maybe bemanistyle or perhaps the pop'n navy forums for more information. |

Hey,
Just make sure you "short" the D-pad down button when you soldr your controller. This is done on all pop'n controllers by default and makes the game recognize the pop'n controller instead of sualshock
EDIT: Im not 100% sure, but it might actually be the down left and right buttons |
