IIDX would be pretty cool on the DS touch screen. _________________

hasn't this already been made clear?
no one would buy ddr for psp or ds, unless they felt is was less polluting than burning their money.
someone lock this thread.... _________________

How many of you play DDR with the Dualshock controller when you're tired?
How many of you play Stepmania on your computer when you're bored?
That's exactly what the concept for a DDR game on PSP would be.
It's not the best idea, but it's not completely dismissable or stupid either. _________________

Someone already made a stepmania homebrew for PSP. Works great. _________________

Yea. I dont have a PsP but my friend does and ima have him get that homebrew on his PSP. It looks really gr8. Well i guess there is nothing more to discuss here since they already kinda do have DDR for psp. So This can get locked now since it serves no purpose anymore =P _________________

No it wouldn't. It's already been discussed, the DS's touchscreen can't register two points being touched at once, rendering IIDX useless. _________________

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

yeah you guys must really be outta date . i decided to randomly check for any updates for my psp last night cuz my psp is deliciously V1.5 and i was like WTF PSPRevolution? sweet
for all of you that are like "wahh wahh i wont pay for ddr for psp" well u can take a big glass of STFU now cuz its free just like SM so .
alas, its still in its early stages. no speed mods and yeah it does crash on either dwi songs im assuming or the problem they stated about banners being different sizes. hell i uploaded Keyboard Collaboration I on it for the hell of it but i cant access half the songs cuz just highlighting the song will freeze it .
anywayz, i was also thinkin about getting the tv adapter and hooking it up that way, and at the least playing with a dual shock, and eventually finding a way for a psp-specific keyboard to be released, which im sure would ;;. until then, what is out right now will have to do!
(btw i tried the IIDX homebrew on PsP and its gay, dont recommend it what-so-ever ) _________________

Umm, obviously no-one noticed 太é¼ã®é人ãã¿ã©ãã« (Taiko no Tatsujin Portable) by Namco come out for PSP which is DEFINATELY the closest thing so far what with it being a long running music game series and all. (Don't try to count a buggy homebrew stepmania...)
I don't see any reason for DDR being a bad PSP game except horrific loading times and the fact that nobody will buy it in Japan. No-one. |

I believe in Japan they have DDR for Cell phones. I know they have Pop'n Music and I think IIDX for Cell phones over there.
DDR with your fingers on a PS2 and PC is more played than people think. A lot of people learn song patterns and such with their hands. Would it work for PSP? Dunno, but there is a potential market out there. |
