if you wanted to completely rewire it, why not build your own to begin with?

and, i think you can build one with arcade sensors, but no one ever does just because it costs so much to buy the sensors E2.gif

anyway, if you've got the money, go for it E4.gif

I gutted my TX's down to bare sheet metal and wood...

Using sheet metal contacts for both sides of the contact is your first step to making this pad work. The arrows do NOT crack when this is done.

You will want to rewire it as well. THere are parts of the internal wiring harness that break easily. Get CAT 5. I'll show ya what the pads are made of and how exactly to do it all if you want me to. AIM me

That was my way of saying no basically.

The wood baseboard of the TX doesnt allow for more than a few layers of sheet metal and foarm between the arrow and wood. If you cut through that, theres not too much underneath it. You would have to add 2x4 blocks or something clever. Plus, one that wood base gets cut into it will be 54739836058764786 times weaker. I'd sheet metal this one and build a custom arcade pad. It will beaeasier and moe possible.
