What does this mean?

I was looking for more DDR Machines in my area, and I noticed that it says [mod] next to some machines....particularly the Extreme machine at Rocky's that I always play on....can somebody tell me what that means?

It means someone modified the machine information for that particular location.

If you scroll down past "Rate this Location", there is a little bar that says "This location has pending modifications"

then it asks if you'd like to view them. Click on the little "YES" tab and you get taken here: http://www.ddrfreak.com/locations/locations.php?action=displayLocation&locationID=308&status=modify

It shows the current information and the updated information. As you can see, someone added that there is now a Pump It Up Exceed 2 in the arcade under "Other BEMANI".

At the bottom, there is a thing of text that says the modification has not yet been verified.
