Name: Undisclosed
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Current Height: 6'3''
Current Weight: 205 lbs
How long have you been DDring: 27 months
How long is a typical session: Arcade=1 hour, home = 2.5 hours
Do I exercise besides his: Nope
Weight loss question: 15 lbs, but I stopped drinking soda too
Well being: I guess kinda...
Noticeable Strength: I can squat 425 now, you tell me
How much longer are your sets: First started, 30 min on light was tricky.
Now I can do 3 hours of heavy
Flexibility/Mobility: None, sorry
Could you achieve 9-13 without DDR: You mean 9-13 footers right? I think you actually could, but it would be much longer and most of the exercise would not just be things like running, but also paying attention to rhythms in music.
Good exercise: hell yeah, My endurance has skyrocketed. A one mile run used to be hard for me and now I can easily jog 4 or 5 miles
Other comments: DDR is the perfect way for enjoyable exercise is it as a fusion of cardiovascular workout, music and critical listening, and of course gaming. If this survey is trying to show the merit of DDR, then believe me, it has merit as a form of exercise.

1)Full name: Luis A. Gomez Garcia

2)Gender: Male

3)Age: 14 turning 15 on January 31

4)Current Height: 5' 4"

5)Current Weight: 98 lbs.

6)How long have you been DDRing?
5 years

7)How long does a typical DDR session last for you?
Less than 2 hours

8)Do you regurally do any other exercises besides DDR?
I am a cross country runner.

9)Has DDR provided any notable weight loss? If so, how much?
Was this accompanied by a diet? I have not lost any weight on DDR myself. I eat a lot, but never gain weight. So I never seem to notice my weight at all.

10)Do you feel that DDR has improved your sense of well being?
As a matter of fact, it has changed me just the slightest bit.

11)Has DDR built any noticeable strength?
Noticeable, I'm not sure.

12)How much longer can you DDR than when you first started?
Back then I lasted DDR for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Now I can last about 3 hours or more.

13)Do you think DDR has made you more mobile/flexible? Has it helped with any joint or muscle movement problems?
I had problems with my legs just a bit back then, and it was a real pain.
But since I started DDR and two years since I started DDR, the pain wore off. I'm not sure if it was DDR, but mostly likely yes.

14)Do you think that you could have achieved [9-13] with any form of exercise other than DDR? Would it have been as easy? As fun?
I guess.

15)Do you think DDR is a good exercise?
I would say yes. DDR for a lot of people is considered their exercise that has a lot of fun in it. No pain required. E1.gif

16)Any other comments on DDR?
DDR is a good that you can lose weight to and stay in physical shape. It doesn't provide you results really fast, but it does give you results. I've had a friend that weighed 140 but he was kinda big, and he's not so round anymore. It's a good game. Keeps you healthy and keeps you having fun.
