At home its my socks with grips on the bottom somtimes..or socks i have danced in so much the heel is a giant hole.

At the arcade its my black shoes.

Well yea at my house i play with socks on because I find it more comfortable then with shoes on.(I have a normal $30.00 dance mat) but when I hit the arcades with those bulky metal machines I prefer to use my classic vans slip-ons.

To me I find the best shoes to wair while playing ddr for me is basketball shoes. That is just my personal preference since I use to play basketball in high school. I've just grown accustom to the feel of them. I've never used anything else for playing ddr in the arcade.

When I'm over to my friends house playing his cobalt flux. I usually end up playing in my socks. I guess I just find socks better on a cobalt flux since its completely flat compared to a ddr arcade pad since it is slightly elevated.

Yeah, skate shoes are good with me. I can move my feet fairly easy with them.

On the machines I play in my soon-to-be dead Adidas. ^^ On the mat at home, though, I play in socks, just because the sound of my feet hitting and coming off of the plastic throws me off.

I haven't tried skate shoes yet. <<; Everyone's making them sound really good...

well. at home i play barefoot. and at arcades i used to play barefoot but some idiot probably sued for breaking a toe nail or something (that's what I heard) so now if they ever see u play barefoot they`ll make u put on some type of thing. so at the time i was wearing sandals when i got kicked off so i had to play while doing it on sandals which actually didn't change my score much it just got me tired faster cause i had to grip the sandals while playing so they won't fall off. Ever since then I always wear sandals when playing arcades. one because they match my outfits better and two because it`ll train my stamina

its impossible for me to play in shows. i have a soft, think red octane for my knee injury and if i play in shoes i sit on my sofa the rest of the night with an ice bag on my swollen feet. i will never dance with shoes unless im in the arcade!
