This almost sounds like a question for Gameplay. Nevertheless, it's a rather challenging 8 (compared to other 8s). Having a typo or 2 in the stepchart doesn't help either. That said, the only people who are going to find it difficult are those who haven't half-mastered 9s and above already.

i played it a little too "late", and therefore my theory that the more skilled you are the less effectively you can differentiate between difficulties of less difficult songs applies here. ive never had any problems with Witch Doctor, though other 8s have given me plenty. the only thing i think might be hard is that it is quite step heavy and therefore more tiring than the average 8. personally though, i find Waka Laka, The Least 100 sec, Lamour et la Liberte, DXY!, and maybe a few others tougher than Witch Doctor.

it was challenging the first couple of times i played it, but now its cake. whenever i play with someone new at the arcade i usually play Witch Doctor just to test them, and a lot of times players will struggle with it (but then do a much harder song like Healing Visions Angelic Mix), but i think its more of a matter of learning it and practicing.

It's more challenging than most 8-footers, and there are steps that don't fit the music...but it's a solid beat for the most part. It just takes knowing the rhythm and having the stamina.

back then, i did it on standard nonstop, and it was very corny.

i think the chaos makes it hard like any other song.
try it on x2, but 1.5 is better. E7.gif

I agree with you there...especially on The least 100 sec.
Also...Dakienkai is pretty tough for an 8...

RE: Least 100 sec. I find that almost every song from Guitar Freaks is horribly offsync. Heaven is a 57 is at least swung, but it's still not great.

I have a horrible score on Daikenkai because I can't stand to listen to the song to get a rhythm going.

thats just not true. Back in the day, right after i passed all the 7 foot songs with an A at least, i gave witch doctor a try and it kicked my a$$.
After beating cartoon hero's a few times i tried it again and it was easy to pass but the stepchart for heavy is just tricky.
