As a christian i think this is an interesting thought but it's kinda stupid at the same time. Some of those songs i like listening to, but dancing to? I think i'll stick to the actual dance music in DDR and other games. Also their song titles are poorly chosen.
I had a friend whose mom wouldnt let him play any other NES games but those Christian ones. Anyone remember that Noahs Ark 3D game that came out for NES on the wolfenstein engine. (you can download this for any NES emulator and see how silly it is)
It was weird. You were Noah and the animals were getting rowdy, so you had to feed them to calm them down. But instead of feeding them normally you had all these different types of food guns and you'd shoot the food into the animals. my fav was the rocket launcher/watermellon blaster, which was a big buttocks (i didnt originally say buttocks) slingshot that blast watermelons at the animals and it would explode on impact satisfying lotsa animals at the same time.
Some of these Bible games are great simply because the are horribly horribly cheesy. I remember another game were you'd get some weapon called "The wrath of God" It would kill everything on the screen in one hit. |

Dude what are you talking about? the Chronicles of Narnia series was written over 50-60 years ago (depending on which book in the series). It's not an "anti-harry potter" series at all.
C.S. Lewis, the author, was a good friend of Tolkien, you know the Hobbit/LOTR series. It was their two series that significantly helped spawn the fantasy/magic genre which has evolved into what we know it as today. In it's time Narnia was immensely popular, because of the slight, (read very slight) Christian influence. In fact the Bible and the people in it are not mentioned once in all of the narnia series. It just had a few parallels. Think back 50-60 years ago. Do you really think parents would allow their children to read such books if it didnt have Christian Values? Reading the narnia series and the ending it had left people craving for more fantasy. From there other authors rose up and wala!
The reason it's not as succesful now is it's old and there are better series out now that are readily available. |

super noahs ark 3d and spirtual warfare respectivly
(super noahs ark was a SNES game the only unlicensed game ever and i almost bought up a japanese copy (sweet jesus why this game was trnaslated ot japanese is beyond me) just becasue it was hilariously horrid looking also becasue they wernt smart enough to beat thesnes lockout they bought up a bunch of game genies wiped all the lableing off and rebranded their games in them so you had to have e legit snes game to even make the horrid peice run
locke this is a bad idea only because the exectuion is incredibly shity had they bothered to make the game good enough to warent attention fomr the big Ks legal department then you might have apoint but halfassing a game shoving jesus on it then calling it christain entertainment aught to be a sin it only serves to say one thing adn that thing is "hey folks our belifes are so worthless that we let anyone brand them on to any old trash so please dont belive that we are hard up for fresh blood and money" _________________

"Oops!...I Sinned Again! (GoToHell Mix)"? Too inappropriate for kids, but it is indeed funny. |

spiritual warfare was actulay a quasi decent zelda clone if you ignored some poor progrmaing choices (the whole airport was poorly done and it had some lame TNT puzzles that would kill you in the park if you entered some certain screans form the wrong side) not as good as nutopia or landstalker but still decent enough to not deserve to just be used as a rectal celaning device _________________

Man, I already made steps for a few of those songs. Why didn't they just ask me for them?
Still, this isn't a bad idea at all, but if the execution is bad, that's a crying shame, since the songlist actually looks pretty good, although a little too CCM-ish. No Michael W. Smith though.
And I still think it's hilarious people judge the quality of the music by its lyrics or the beliefs of the artists. While there are too many Christian bands that just seem to fit a particular mold and is just bland crap, there are those that are original and interesting, even to non-Christians. And Christian rap isn't that bad, it's just not about being a thug so it's automatically lame or whatever. _________________

EDIT: Signal to Noise Ratio ~ 0.02. (Hugh Jasse quote removed)
If that was truly the song list, I would buy it for the pure cheese factor alone. |

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
1) If you think Shintoism is at all common these days, you need to do a little research.
2) If you think that there aren't any (or many) Christians in Japan, you also need to do a little research. _________________

I didn't think that was seriously coming out.
Now I wonder if Konami is going to press a lawsuit with this company too. |
They better do it, or else, the KKK will endorse the fucking product (after all, they DID get away proclaiming themselves as the Quote: | OFFICIAL CHURCH OF THE USA | altroughout the 1920's and The Great Depression)
Other than that, I'm expecting biblethumpers, Jerry Falwell (Mr. "9/11 was made happened by liberals, fags, lesbos, and feminists"), Pat Robertson (Mr. "Let's Assassinate Hugo Chavez"), John Ashcroft, and David Duke support on this game. _________________
