Call them back later, especially if it's your first song, that would be a waste. Unless of course your have some suspicion that you are getting a call saying you have won a million (or so) dollars, but since that's highly unlikely I say dance on.

If you're at the arcade, then it has to be your cell phone which you could easily answer, if nothing else to say "call back in 5 minutes." If you're at home, then it won't kill you to answer the phone. DDR isn't some end-all game wherein you can have no possible distractions while playing. I take playing DotA infinitely more seriously than DDR, but that doesn't stop me from answering my phone if it goes off, if nothing else to tell people that I'm busy. And if it rings while you're doing "uber-perfect," so what? If you really did it once, then you can do it again.

AWWWWWW This always happen, I had just started to play Sakura and the phone just rings before the slow part, it makes me mad cause I would on AA it if that phone wouldn't ring.

i never listen to the music, so answering my phone never screwes my performance. if it does screw your performance then call the person back. Just because you have a cell phone does not mean it has to be answered, unless it might be your parents. in that case drop the game and pick up your phone

If I'm the only one home, I stop and pick up the phone. I can always play the song again. But if I'm not home alone, I let someone else pick it up.

ROtFL yah, i hate a lot of the music in DDR, some of it i like, but the songs i do like i whore really bad, so i don't play them anymore. so i'm forced to play songs i don't like because i DO like DDR, so i don't listen to the music because it bugs me.

i play DDR but i listen to Motograter WTF

some times i wear my headphones so i don't have to hear the songs i like to play(candy)
