Or something around that...
Heres the scenario,
My school, next semester will have a festival like thing where all the clubs get together and advertise their clubs and have different things to let people enjoy themselves with (a booth or something). I am only a few hundred bucks away from buying a ddr machine ive reserved from someone (sorry I wont say about it E10.gif).
I am not completely sure whether or not the sponsors will allow a DDR machine, for the club I made, The "Japanese Arts and Cultures Club".

DDR is japanese right? it is a part of some japanese lifestyle, in arcades... maybe not as frequent but still there, E10.gif

anyways.. I was wondering if it is possible for anyone to find/make me a packet that will help me convince the school to allow it.

whether or not it will work isnt as important as knowing i tried and someone helped though. plus ya never know, i could use it later in life XD

somehow....

anyways , thank you to anyone/everyone that helps in any way.

~thank you.

Err.. I've tried once before to convince the school but um.. looking back now, it reaaally wasn't worth the trouble. .-. I'm sure if you type something up and embellish it a bit you might have some luck. Otherwise... its a school. o.o Don't get your hopes up. riiight.gif xD;

Throwing DDR in as a "part of Japanese culture" is a pretty long strech, unless you're planning on showcasing other video games as well. I suppose you could place emphesis on songs like Sakura and the J-Pop stuff.

Educational benefits... I'm not sure. If you want some information about the health benefits of DDR, or how some schools have involved DDR in their gym classes, you could look through the Press Page or News sections of the site for relevant stuff.

Calling DDR a part of japanese culture is pretty stupid, I'm sorry, but yeah.

Why does this have to be associated with another club? Can't a DDR club stand on its own?

We have a Gamers Club at my school that has DDR incorporated in it. In the packet, use examples on how it builds stamina, agility and healthier in general. I'm sure you can find stuff on that all over. You could qualify some of the music in DDR as Japanese, which may be a loophole enough for DDR to qualify in Japanese Arts and Cultures
