Different people have different skills. Pandemonium is fairly straightforward, but incredibly tiring. Euphoria is extremely complex and kinda hard to read in places, but physically much less draining. 61% vs. 94% does seem like a pretty extreme difference, but I don't find it all that hard to believe. I just wish I had that much stamina... |

There is a C450 mod, and Pandy doesn't change BPM, so you can use that.
Edit: Sorry, the "C" speed mods are C300, C400, and C500. There's not C450. So, if you have FujiFlame's problem, use the C400 mod, and yes, the pause will hurt you, but you can memorize when it is, right? _________________

It has a pause though, so you can't without dq'ing your score. |

Personally, I think that Pandemonium is harder than Euphoria, because Pandemonium runs at a constant 330bpm with 858 steps, and Euphoria changes it's bpm (70-140bpm) and has 793 steps. I cannot forget the fact that Pandemonium has only 4th and 8th notes and Euphoria has 64th notes. Also, Pandemonium has more jumps than Euphoria. Euphoria's steps may be quicker than Pandemoniums's steps (such as the 64th notes), but Pandemonium is more stamina draining (in my opinion). _________________

I won't quote anyone here, but if you can't hear what some of the steps are to, you're probably playing in a noisy arcade with the machine's volume set too low. Personally, I think that, since you're much more dependent on the sound on Bemani/Bemani style games, the volume on these machines should be set higher.
Anyway, if you want to know what the steps are for, buy the game for PS2 and buy some good speakers. You'll hear it.
Edit: Sorry I can't really comment on either song's expert difficulty, Dawn Hard (8) is my best accomplishment. Not bad, considering I've been playing DDR/ITG for like two months, a few hours per weekend... _________________

You know? I just might have. I was pretty sure someone mentioned it on this thread, though. I guess I was mistaken. _________________

I've been refraining from saying this for a while, but all the posts on this thread that say anything along the lines of "Pandy is stupid hard, Euphoria can't have 32nd's at that BPM," etc., are BS posts. Sure, my best is a friggin' 8, but instead of saying "This ten is stupid hard! It should be easier!" I haul my butt to the arcade and work on my skills. You can't pass Pandemonium on expert? Then stop hating the game, and instead, get good enough to beat it. That's what I do. And I can tell you this much; since I work on myself, I'll be beating Pandemonium on expert long before you do. _________________

JUst to tell you, you made a month bump to a dead thread. Over that thread, I did pass both songs (oh burn) and I still think there stupid. The latter half of the song is too stupid to comment on. Just refer back to my earlier posts. The therad stopped because no one could handle what i said cuz im to good. _________________

For Pandemonium, I'd have to say "BREAK THE KNEES!", but hell, thats what I said when I saw the Legend of MAX. So, you know. I'll eventually get it.
Pandemonium is much harder than Euphoria IMO. Pandemonium breaks my bones, but I can pretty much pass Euphoria. If I can make it to the slowdown, then I could go the rest of the way. It's pretty simple. It goes with the beat, so it's easy to know what your doing. _________________

Euphoria is easy now...I used to have a lot of trouble with that song, but I just worked on it a bit and I'm up to over 94% with 1 way off, almost a full combo.
Pandemonium on the other hand, is still extremely stamina draining and almost painful to play at times, but it's still a fun song. I have a 94.02% on it.
Euphoria is tougher than Pandemonium at first, but after practice, becomes much much easier than Pandemonium. _________________

It seriously does... It's fun, it sounds fine and its steps are where they should be. The slowdown can be a little boring and repetitive but still. The steps FIT. As with all the song. The damned steps fit. If the song kills you, practice. _________________

(I hate this game) | Euphoria goes with the music very well. If you can't tell that, it doesn't mean that the steps are bad, it means that you either don't understand the steps, or don't understand the music.
The steps are hard, but this doesn't mean they're stupid. If you can't tell that, either you're just not good enough to enjoy steps like these, or you don't like the concept of a difficulty higher than DDR.
If you hate this game, that doesn't mean the game is bad. If you think it is, that means it's either just aimed at an audience other than you, or you're too closed-minded to give it a real try and find what you like about it.
If you hate this game, why are you posting here? _________________

First of all, there is a C450.
Second of all, I never said I have that problem. |

I do play the game, I play it a lot. But I only play songs that have good step charts, like Da Roots or Pandy Hard. I am not closed minded, I have beaten the game. I do play an eleven all the time, so I don't care about the extra difficulty. The fact is, and I'd hard-pressed to find a lot of people who disagreed, DDR has better steps.
I'll admit, I never looked at a stepchart, yet I memorize DDR songs that I've been playing for like a week. I play Da Roots all the time, but I couldn't tell you what the first step was. I even forget what the music is sometimes! That is the difference between DDR and ITG, step quality. ITG is absolutely terrible at it. They SUCK!
DDR on the other hand rocks. I post hear cuz I have nothing better to do. _________________

How is that a fact? You didn't give any scientific proof, just opinion.
Sure the steps in ITG are hard to memorize, so what? That really just makes the game what it's supposed to be: A game where you look at the arrows scrolling to the top. If you memorize a song, then it becomes something different...
And all of that is imo. No one here knows the fact. _________________
