I swear that's a CS build. Honestly, why would they dev a "tour kit" when in all truthfulness, they could just deassemble a Dedicated and set it up at the show (like they did at ASI) _________________

I asked Kyle why they had that setup while i was there and he said they were meant to get an actual arcade machine, but that they couldn't for some reason, so i don't think that's a ps2 setup. |

Honestly, I think it was just disassembled dedicated or a straight out Linux box. I'm almost positive that it wasn't a PS2 because on the bottom corner of the screen, Kyle had his Display Name showing, indications that a USB flash drive was plugged in... Then again, maybe the PS2 build of ITG2 accepts USB drives for edits and such... Hmm... _________________

I just hope that RedOctane decides to settle with ITG2 home version getting a T rating. Those song butcherings on 1 were unforgivable. And besides, I don't know a single person that would refuse to sell a T-rated game to a kid. M-rated, possibly. But T? Come on. That's the ESRB equivalent of PG/PG13. It's purely precautional.
For every one little kid with ridiculously strict parents, there will be at least 100 other people that are happy to hear the songs as they were meant to be. _________________

i think that that very well could be a PS2 build, i mean the Stop! Go song is probably in ITG3 and that is one of the couple songs they put in the console version as a spoiler type thing like incognito, funk factory, tribal style, etc.. |

All of the ITG1 songs were on it and now that i think of it, I think i may have seen on the background art something about ITG3 or Kyle said something, but i can't exactly remember, so I guess you could be right about it being a preview, but I had asked him about an ITG2 PS2 version and IIRC, he didn't say there were any plans for a release date, so i think it may just be an unlock, but we'll find out soon enough. |

This "Stop and Go" song sounds interesting. I hope it's an ITG2 arcade unlock. |

I think it's an unlock. As I was scrolling through the songs, I noticed that it was all ITG/ITG2 songs. That song was the only one that wasn't on any of the known song lists. Also, like I said before, Kyle had his USB Drive inserted. I still think we were playing ITG2 off a regular Linux computer. _________________

They had two ITG setups. One of them was ITG for the ps2, which is what that ps2 is for, and the other was the ITG2 arcade setup, which was probably done on a linux computer. |

I met Kyle and talked to him a bit at Oni-con in Houston last weekend. If I would have known he was so popular I would have taken a pic or whatever. But he really is a cool guy.
Anyways, at Oni-con they had the same set-up in a corner of the gaming/arcade room with Guitar Heroes beside it. I didn't get to play ITG2 as much as ITG1 because ITG2 was only there on the first day. I regret not asking him more about it though |
