When I read the news, I couldn't help but shed a tear. Even though I never really knew him, I felt like I had a connection with him when I played his songs. Sounds crazy, but I do feel as if I knew him somehow. His death was a tragedy to the music community, and he will forever live on in all our hearts.

While we're on the subject of Captain Jack's songs, did he have a hand in Rhythm & Police? I see that it's by CJ CREW feat. CHRISTIAN D... Maybe Captain Jack's crew? What do you think? (or is this old news?) _________________

I remember going with my cousin to several stores searching for his music, and never found a single album. I've heard the prices were around $40, but in my opinion he would have been worth it. Captain Jack was one of the major reasons I liked DDR in the first place...Captain, why did you have to die so early ? |

We'll miss you.
You've given me many hours of fun and enjoyment just listening to your songs, let alone playing DDR. Let the DDR, Bemani, and Dancemania community remember your giving to us. Thanks for it all. You will live forever in your songs.
You'll never be forgotten. _________________

This rumor needs to be sqashed now. | This has happened before. A couple years ago someone started a rumor that Captain Jack had a stoke and died while having dinner with his friends. I think that rumor started when someone hacked CJ's mailing list and sent out a fake announcement. (And there was no stroke at all.)
But if he is dead this time, and I'm not going to get sad yet because I've been fooled before, then that is a great loss. Captain Jack's music is loved by everyone. I think it's a big compliment to call him the most the single most frequently licensed artist in the Bemani series. (Both North America and Japan.) He's that popular. |

The only news article I have read about this is the one that reports that he fell into the coma a couple days ago. (See: http://focus.msn.de/hps/fol/newsausgabe/newsausgabe.htm?id=20540 ) It doesn't say anything about his death.
Does anyone know where the news came from about his death? I couldn't find anything on the official Captain Jack website either... _________________
