Err... anyway... I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Oasis yet. I can pass stuff like VerTex and Xuxa on Expert, but this one still kills me (it's the only 10 I haven't passed yet). It's those damned akward freeze arrow streams. I'll just have to learn to position myself better to hit them. I'll probably get it soon. |
Oasis is like Disconnected Mobius you gotta turn around in it thats all its not to hard... |

I never really had too much trouble with Oasis, although it is one of the best charts I've ever seen. Genius in action, right there. Just gotta learn when to spin, just like Disconnected ~Mobius~ and even a few parts of Funk Factory. I'd use those 2 and maybe even QoL to practice the tricky freeze stream. As far as bar-raping on Anubis goes, that might work. But I'm @ home so I don't really have a bar. Also, I know it's dumb but I've never bar raped on anything and I don't plan to start if I can help it. Speeding it up might help, though. Anubis is kinda tricky to read on 1x. |

Well, it's not like you have to fully spin, depending on which foot you start with; only as much as a 180 stance if done correctly, so its not that bad. |

I can pass Euphoria and FC Anubis, and I play both of them on 1x or 1.5x. Reading is about the speeds you're comfortable with, so if someone plays on lower speeds than you, it doesn't mean they're putting themselves at a disadvantage. _________________

D~hyper and Tension are easy. I got 25 fec on hyper, and like 98.0x on tension and I'm not really good. The thing is, "hardest 10" is very vague cause some songs are certain ratings for different reasons. My opinion is hardest 10 to combo is One false move, hardest 10 to FA is Sweet World most retarded ten is Twilight or Oasis. Everyones different and finds different things difficult or easy. If were counting doubles though, it's undisputedly Disconected disco. There is absolutely no 10 harder than that, period. _________________

I've started thinking Disconnected Disco may be only a 10, provided you assume players are going to cheat all cheatable hands. However, if played as written, it's definitely an 11, no question. _________________

Throwing out other songs for opinions. I'd probably go Soapy Bubble...
Visible Noise, Sunshine, BYM, and BOUFF.
Wondering why some of those weren't mentioned. I think they're all pretty tough, though my soapy bubble score is much worse.
Then again I have a better score on my 11's and some 12's than on some of these 10s. |

You don't play IIDX, do you? | Yes I do, and I have for a couple of years. I've passed some of the flashing 8s on IIDX RED, including moon_child, 1st Samurai, Setsugekka, and A. btw, I don't use random.
However, on IIDX I play much higher speeds than on DDR/ITG for two reasons:
1) I don't have to worry about balance and body positioning, so my reaction time is quicker
2) The notes aren't color-coded by rhythm, so it's harder to read if you don't space it out.
On ITG, 1/16ths are green, 1/32nds are orange, and whatnot, and that makes it easy to read 90% of the songs in the game, even on 1x or 1.5x. The other 10%, there are just too many notes, so I need at least 1.5x or occasionally 2x. (2.5x for Bloodrush.) I play VerTex on 1x, and the only part that's hard to read is the end, at 612 BPM. The slowdowns are easy. I usually play Euphoria on 1.5x or 2x, and I've passed it many times on 1x as well.
With the handy note colors, there isn't the need for high speeds like in IIDX, because you can just look at the notes, and see that the green one comes after the red one, and the blue one comes after the green one, and so on. IIDX becomes a clumpy mess without high speeds, because nothing indicates when you have to hit a note other than its position.
Thus, I play A on HS2 or HS3, but I'll play Zodiac on 1.5x. _________________

for me, disconnected hyper requires the most stamina, and Sweetworld is the hardest to score high in. Stupid 24th notes. _________________

Huh? Sunshine is an easy 10, it's fast but there are no long streams in it, making it extremely easy. I think it's a pretty short song too..
BYM is just a few crossovers and some hands, that's it. Nothing too difficult there. Bouff on the other hand is one of the more difficult 10s.
Soapy bubble is easily the hardest 10, no questions asked. It probably should be an 11, since Utopia/Destiny/Xuxa are so much easier. |

meh to Bouff, I'd say Hybrid puts up more of a challenge. If I really go at it FA'ing Hybrid it tears the hell out of me. |

Excuse me if I'm wrong isnt 32nds (or are they 24ths...) at 180 faster than 16ths at 195?
Tension is the 'fastest' song in the game due to those 3 hit 'runs'. kthxbye |
Tension only has a few of those notes to sync it. kthxbye. |
