If you ever play World of Warcraft, then you would know that BBB can do nothing at all. RO is not even a member of BBB, so there is really nothing they can/would do about it but puts up another report filed.
This is whats on BBB about RO:
Phone Number: (888) 737-8038
BBB Membership: This company is not a member.
Type-of-Business Classification: Games & Supplies
Customer Experience
Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau. Specifically, our records show a pattern of non-response to consumer complaints brought to its attention by the Bureau.
The company's size, volume of business, and number of transactions may have a bearing on the number of complaints received by the BBB. The complaints filed against a company may not be as important as the type of complaints, and how the company handled them. The BBB generally does not pass judgment on the validity of complaints filed.
The following data concerns complaints processed by the BBB since the firm's file was opened on August 17, 2000 or over the last 36 months, whichever is less.RedOctane Corporate Office has had 9 complaints. 2 were closed as Resolved. 1 was closed as Assumed Resolved. 1 was closed as Administratively Judged Resolved. 5 were closed as No Response. Of these complaints: 1 was concerning Selling Practices. 1 was concerning Service Issues. 1 was concerning Credit or Billing. 2 were concerning Delivery Issues. 1 was concerning Product Quality. 3 were concerning Repair Issues. |

i've really had it with these piece of sh!t pads. they work so well when they work. but my new one is only a month old, i look inside, all the foam is torn and stretched to sh!t under the up and down arrows, and the pads pretty much busted, and none of my usual duct tape work is gonna fix this probably. the up or down arrows dont register when i hit them, then register when i dont want them too, they register by me hitting the center of the pad, etc.... crap, crap, crap. i knew it wasnt gonna last, but i only wanted it to last a few months until christmas when i get a CF. couldnt even get that. _________________

What OS are you running? If it's anything other than XP, *points to few posts up* I have the same problem. _________________

For the past few days after I got another 3.0, I have been putting the old 2.0 right underneath my mat, to see if it would do anything. So far so good, I have had 2 kids being retarded playing PSMO and seeing how far into the song they could go, and me playing quite a few heavy songs with DDR Ex2.
It would be a week from today since I made the exchange, and it seems to be doing alright. I would just place the foam from my 2.0 inside the 3.0, but last time I did that it caused the insides to rip _________________

all I can say to anyone who bought the "new" and "upgraded" foam pad from RO is, ahahahahaha, sorry at one point and time, I felt your pain... they inevitably rip. Call customer service, the guy told me they have a 1-2 month lifespan. WOW, didn't think companies could purposely sell you junk |

An old RO Ignition 2.0 if you're lucky enough to find one. _________________

No more than 10 times having used my 3.0 did my left panel start to misfire. And I bought this thing around May/June.
And now my 2.0 has started to misfire on the right panel. Maybe the down panel as well.

Well, my second 3.0 just conked out on me after exchanging the old. I'm thinking about cutting open the damn thing and seeing what's going on inside. In any case, if I can't find a 2.0, I guess I'll drop the cash for CF and say "**** you" to RO. My 2.0 was damn near perfect for six months and still a lot of fun after that. |

I'm really wanting this pad cause I want to play ddr games on the Xbox. Could somebody please tell me whats good, bad about it? It looks really nice, and orange is a cool color. My Vortz pad has rips in it |
The good thing about it is the raised arrows let you know where your feet are. The bad thing about it is it isnt very reliable. I've had mine a little over 2 months and the left arrow randomly boos about a dozen times throughout a song. If I could go back in time I wouldnt have spent $100 on it, my modded 3rd party pad lasted longer (2 years and still works) than the Ignition. |

It seems that all or most of the 3.0s has a left arrow defect in them.
By the time I bought mine, the arrow just died as soon as I was on it. I only had it for six hours!!! I should have just kept my 2.0 and I suggest that everyone keep their 2.0s.. |
