CF had an issue with a supplier. You can find the details in this post in the CF forums: http://cobaltflux.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=87435&highlight=#87435

Shipments should start getting out again, now.

This seems to be the best ps2-USB adapter to use with the Cobalt Flux and Stepmania.

It's a bit pricy but there's no lag at all and there are no special drivers needed as far as i can tell, I just plugged it in and started playing.

Looks pretty hot, but my favourite one is the Super Dual Box, as it allows for two mats at once =)

I would like that one for the Dreamcast ability though =D

that's the same xbox/usb adapter i got with my pad =D

from what i have heard the center part of the platform is also an activateable sensor when u remove a small piece below the lexan and it can be used in conjunction with the two diagonal buttons and the square and the triangle to play piu (pump it up) and u might be able to use it on stepmania to play 6 arrow version of ddr if you get the proper ps2-pc adapter for the flux.

On some versions of DDR there is a mode called "Solo" mode. It uses the regular left, right, up, and down buttons but also uses the top two diagonal arrows too.

You should become unlazy. Being lazy is something that DDRFreak frowns upon, especially if you break the rules stated in the FAQ.

ITG works with any controller that has four arrows and confirmation buttons so that you can navigate through the menus.

Long Story.. questions are at the end

So, one day i come home from school and its my birthday (im 13) and my parents got me a 2 TX-1000 (i had no idea) so i tell them they suck and they refuse to belive me and wont return it.

about 2weeks later, one of them dies and 1 week after that, both are dead. So we call RO up and tell them our pads are dead... we get new ones. Well one appears to be OK, but the other is a little defected.Turns out that there are huge Bumbps all over the bottom of the pad, so when i play im rocking up and down the whole time. and the otheres screws came out, and wouldnt go back in. so the arrow fell out.

2 pads later we get these new pads (different version) *so they say*and the metal plating, around the pads.. wel the back part doesnt fit. to make a long sotry short ive gone through 6 tx's and i want a cobalt flux

now im guna see if they'll just give us our moeny back, but its been about 7 months sonce the first ones.

if i get a CF do you think that i should get the arcade mod?
if i get one without it now, but get it later will the shipping be increased because i didnt get them at the same time?
how much do you think the shipping will be just for 1 CF.
ok thanx
Edit: look at my sig, that link is the same pads i have... off the today show... so its gotta be good erm.gif and those are the metal plateings i was talking about.

1) Do you play in the arcade a lot? Can you play on other flat pads (such as standard soft pads) without getting lost? If you only play at home and know where you are on normal soft pads, you probably don't need the arcade mod. You can save your money; and always order them later if you think you need them.
2) Shipping I believe is an exra ~$3.50.
3) Total cost of just a CF without arcade mod including shipping was ~$348 for me.

if you want the extended warranty it costs more. mine was $373 i think with the 1 year pad, 6 month control box warranty. i ordered it yesterday biggrin.gif

question: we filled out our info for the cf and bought it....afterwards we decided we wanted an account so we could track it. so we tried tos ign up for one, but b/c we didnt do it th esame time as we ordered the pad we cant viwe the status. any way to get an account that could access the shipping status?
