Hello everybody! I am SearchingforAAA. (It took me 5 minutes to come up with that username. )
I am also known as -_-? over at Bemanistyle.
DDR Experience: I have been playing DDR for 21 months now, and I can pass almost every 9 footer in DDR (except for Cartoon Heroes, Rhythm and Police, Dead End, and CSFILSM, those I fail at the end of) with an A at least.
I have passed 2 10 footers, bag, B and Sakura, A, and I can get to the halfway point of Max 300. LoM and Maxx Unlimited I haven't even tried yet.
I have a song count of 723 in Stepmania.
My favorite musical artists are Squarepusher, Autechre, Rammstein, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Pole, and Shpongle. And I'm also a big fan of minimalist art. |

My name's DocMenach, AKA Mike. The health club I work at recently bought DDR for thier youth center. Since I am thier tech guy they had me take it home to test it all out and make sure everything was working properly. Needless to say, the next day I ordered a set of BNSDX pads, and Ultramix2 for myself. I've only been playing for about a week and a half now. I've got a few 2, 3, and 4 foot AA's (no PAs yet) and am begining to clear some 6 foots.
Talk about an addictive game, it's nearly replaced all of my other video gaming.
I am probably one of the older players on the forums, I'm 26. |

Hi everyone, my name is Sam.
I am 25 years old and have only played DDR for 3 months.
My name is from the fact that I am a black belt and took ballet and jazz lessons years back.
My skill is passing most 5-6 footers, I'm not too concerned with FCs as of yet.
I am a kinda big guy but am semi-athletic.
It's all Naoki's fault, he drew me to the game with his awesome songs.
Thanks and later.
Sam. |

I dont know any fancey DDR terms, like steps, oranythis. i dont know the diff between a teck player and a freestyler. i do know that i can get A's on sum songs, like butterfly, and Dam Darium.
THe only DDR game ive played is DDR extreame, and thats becouse its the only one in raleigh.
Hey, Ceredigm, and, L'amour Et LA Liberte, where abouts do u live in rahiegh? i live in east raliegh. not in the rich part.
Im too poor to buy a game pad, but im saving up.
DDR is like a drug, the more i play, the more i want to play.

Hey everyone! SakuraFreak here. I love DDR, NASCAR (Jamie McMurray No. 42), Raiders Football, Athletics Baseball, and Warriors Basketball. (I'm a bay area fan yet I live in LA.) I can AA Sakura (My favorite song) and pass all Ten Footers except for the MAXXES (working REALLY REALLY hard on MAXX 300) and PSMO. I have DDR Max, Max2, Extreme, Extreme2 and Konamix. (US Versions) |

|
|
Hello all,
My name is Jason and I work in a small school district in MN. I am very interested in starting a DDR unit throughout our district and am looking for some advice:
1. What would be the most effective way to have 30-34 students active playing DDR in a gym setting?
2. Can more than 2 players play at the same time on the same tv?
3. I would need it to be portable (so I can take it to other schools in the District)
4. Cost; DDR pads (wireless option?), game console, TV's/projector and any other equipment I would need to have 30-34 kids participating.
5. Is it available for different ability levels? K-12?
I really appreciate the help and information, I feel that this would be a great opportunity to get kids active and have some FUN!
thanks
Jason |
