Do you think its worth it to spend over $100 on a metal mat with the bar? I really like it, especailly because I love playing in the arcade but don't have the time to do it. Are the mats exactly like the arcade?

A) your in the wrong forum. You need to go to the Bemani Controller Forum.

B) From what i know, the company's that make the best metal pads out there (RedOctane and CobaltFlux) dont make any metal pads with bars (correct me if im wrong)

C) In that case, im guessing you looking at a TX pad. TX-1000 trhu 3000 (I believe), and no do not buy them, they will brake easily. If you want a good pad, buy the RedOctane Afterburner or a CobaltFlux platform (which wont cost you $100, but $2-300)
