I suggest not doing this. If it's dead, leave it alone.

The largest thing DDR playing has effected is my social status. At school alot of people do seem to talk to me, but they arent the type of people I would invite over to watch a movie or anything. By going to the arcade a lot I have made several really great friends that I think will be around for a lot longer than just my high school years.

Good game, but nothing life-changing here.

I disagree. DDR the game itself isn't anything life-changing, but (at least in the northwest) The community that surrounds it (or surrounded it, it's kind of falling apart now frown.gif ) was such a close-knit group of awesome people that I think playing and getting involved in the community really did change my life. I met so many awesome people and it really helped me become a more social person, which in turn helped me make more friends at school and stuff like that. I've even met several girls through it E10.gif

of course like one person said, stronger legs; yeah got em, but my arms are pretty weak.

yes draining more calories than consuming them is bad. erm.gif

Also, thought of how DDR can effect your real life?

If i wouldve posted Da-RiSiN-sMoKe's guide it wouldve said:
You are a nerd if:
You play to many video games.
You bring that kind of topic during something else.
You decide to play DDR three hours a day and brag about how good you are at it.
You ditch your friends and family to play nothing but DDR and video games.
You are not a nerd if:
You wear different clothing
You are smart.
etc.

Get it?
Point: Play DDR and anything else as much as you want, but don't let it effect your real life.

- Da-RiSiN-sMoKe

Ok, here's one that no one has mentioned yet, but it is definetly my favorite benefit:

I've noticed that since I've stared playing DDR my stamina and endurance in the bedroom has increased dramatically. I'm sure it's mainly from getting so much more excercise, but I love it!
