Of course I'm not saying that every girls are like that, I'm just stating that most of them are.
First thing that comes to a guy's mind when someone is talking about a girl is usually "Is she cute?". That's pretty much the only case where the appearance matters for a guy... oh except maybe cars Girls are usually looking at the appearance first on most things, but when they look at a guy, appearance is important but also a lot of things (reputation, attitude, etc.). That was the only thing I was trying to say.
And what I said isn't what ugly guys want to hear... well maybe it is, but that's not the point. I'm telling you that you could be really cute, but that you'll need something else to attract girls, usually confidence. The thing is, cute guys with a lack of confidence are pretty rare, but they do exist. Personnally I think it's stupid that the confidence plays such a big role, but that's the truth.

mostly i play with my friends(who never play ddr)and thier amazed.but i did like last week when i played with a girl who was on standered and im on heavy. she was so hot. good to know theres hot girls who like ddr that live near me.

LOL, not all of them are straight. 
As an "arcade boy", I make sure that I prepare myself for a sweaty session.
This means BATH + DEODORANT before going to the arcade.
This will ensure that you won't smell for a good while....unless you have a problem...
When I play DDR, I play mainly for my own enjoyment.
Along the way, I may get a few nice comments from girls or boys.
As far as the girls go, I can remember them complimenting me on how good I danced, because I DID. No silly "oooh, phone num plz" or "you're cute, let's date" things going on. I met a few ditzy ones though; perhaps they were trying to be cute by wasting time on the machine. <_<
Meh, so overall, I had no really bad experiences with girls in the arcade.....but flocks of them sometimes scares me because I don't know WHAT they'll do while I'm playing.
Being the arcade boy that I am, all I do is watch and play.
I only speak if spoken to, usually. After a n00b fails or a master passes a very hard song, I sometimes commend them on their efforts.
The arcade boys I've seen in the arcade are.......hmmmmm, lol that's a good one! XD
I've seen sweaty shirts, smelled onion-type fragrance, witnessed bodily injuries, stared at fluid on the pads, etc. etc. etc. from boys playing DDR.
Some bothered me, most didn't....we're boys playing DDR; it happens.
The HOT/HAWT factor:
Well, I have to admit that I've seen some really cute guys playing DDR.
Some are reasonable, some are not.
Girls, you know you like to see us sweaty...it's not really the machine dancing that attracts you to us, it's what we say and do AFTER we get off the b****.
We can look sooooo cute, but be sooooo not-your-type....and strangely enough, vice-versa (not to discourage ^^,).
Also, somebody posted earlier in this thread about certain "body parts" being watched by various arcade boy spectators.
^: Umm, we watch what we want whether we can help it or not. XD
LOL, that reminds me of when I saw a woman (not a teen) playing DDR...I couldn't help but glance at her jiggling boobs and giggle a bit.
For boys, I sometimes have a glimpse of every part of their body while they play...depending on attractiveness, of course...can't help it sometimes. XD
LOL I'm having too much fun posting this, alright, that's enough to read for now.

Ok maybe he wasn't being sexist, thats great, but the way he said it made it sound like he was making a general statement about only the female population. And he's still stereotyping, which angers me.

I do admit that a lot of girls are these "bimbos" who are interested only in sex and hot guys, but for each one of them is a guy who is only interested in sex and hot girls. So it's not necessarily that I'm disagreeing with you, it's just that generalizing and stereotyping are bad. Then again so is assuming, and for that I apologize. |

there was also some girl earlier on here in this thread called Rival-Julie (something like that) who reckoned/assumed the guy who made the other thread ('arcade girls') must've been some ugly dude just to boost his feeling or something. funny how girls also like to put them down isn't it, always using the looks factor as their best and consistant insult whenever a guy does something they dont like. again just goes to show how important looks are doesnt it?
OKAY, just to make it fair for once, i reckon the girl who created THIS THREAD must've been some damn fat ugly girl trying to boost her feelings as well. fairs fair huh?

Actually, the person who made this thread was just trying to mock the other one. I don't think you can deduce anything based on that.
I really don't know why you say girls use the look of a guy as an insult all the time. I heard a couple of girls say that about a guy, but nothing out of the ordinary... at least nowhere near how often guys say that.

both genders say things using looks as the main factor of insults i agree, but i honestly dont know which does it more often, judging ny todays society i think its b*tchy girls who do it more often.
also why is it that when a girl puts down/insults a guy on his looks that girl knows what she wants and is praised, BUT when a guy puts down/insults a chick on her looks hes an a**hole? |

Do you have a concrete example, because I never really saw a girl get praised for something like this.
Besides, a counter example would be that a guy that slept with a lot of girls is a stud, but a girl who slept with a lot of guys is a sl*t.
Oh, and as for the doggy snobbish girls, I don't know what you think, but their attitude makes them pretty unattractive to me, even if they are cute. That also means I couldn't care less about them, lol. And I'm not saying this because I got insulted by one or anything, but some of them hang out with me and they get pretty annoying sometimes always pointing ugly people...

this topic is about girls praising hot arcade boys/insulting ugly arcade boys, so it is related to a degree.
if you dont like it you can always not read it and post.
thought youd have more things to do like checking out guys (hot ones only of course) on the ddr machines. |

I do! And they love it! Why do you think I let them hang around with me.
It's funny how those girls are usually doggy and snobbish just because they have really low self-esteem. Like one of them is really trying to be miss pretty and independant, yet when her boyfriend went away for 2 month in Europe, she was going crazy thinking he might meet cute girls, lol.

Because I really don't think it would be a good solution. You don't get people to have more confidence in themselves or more indulgent of other people by backstabbing them when they think you're one of their best friend. It would make things even worse... Besided I'm too much of a nice guy to do that sort of things... *sigh
I know them more now, and I know they can be good persons, at least with me. I just wish they would stop their elitist attitude though, because it pisses a lot of people off!
