What's on your feet while playing DDR?

What is your opinion on the Adidas_1 shoes

Usually I wear Vans, of any style. Good grip, good support, and a couple of the pairs are pretty light. If I'm not wearing Vans, then I'm wearing Converses, whether low top or high top, doesn't matter.

I made the mistake of plating in Anarchic knee high combat boots once. Didn't turn out well >.>

i only ware socks when i am at home, i have one of those redoctane pads with the foam inserts, a really good pad. But when i am at the arcade i where my converse, not the cloth kind mine are the white leather kind, i wont slip or nuthin

Well, on the extreme machine in the local arcade, I'll play with New Balance sneakers, because the screws hurt like heck. When on a soft pad, I'll either play in bare feet or with socks on (depends on what's in the dresser at the time), but I like to put a little dirt or something similar on them in order to move from step to step a little easier so I don't stick or slip.

i have played on the arcade with my barefeet because i was wearing sandels. It didnt hurt one bit

if i ever go after school and i've been wearing boots, or i goto the city in thongs, then i play barefoot. my PA and general playing ability is alot better. but I normally go in crappy 15 dollar shoes, because that's all i can afford anyway.

I wear skate shoes of any kind. Good grip, light, and very confortable. I also like converse for the same reasons.

ive got one of those 4 inch thick pads so i have to play in socks or i get god awful friction burns of my feet and i cant play. i have to dance on a Red Octane because i had knee surgery last year and the padding keeps me pretty comfortable. but i dont get how you dance with no socks?! that hurts and i find i cant get the arrows!

I Love to wear my K-Swiss when im DDR-ing. If Im Kina tired and feel like doing slow songs, I wear my K-Swiss or My Multi-Color Phat Farms. Im Im not tired and I wanna do fast songs, I wear my pink Paul frank Flip Flops, they gived me a nice spring

I have a two-year-old pair of adidas SL's that I play in. I think they grip pretty well. I think that any decent low-top basketball shoe would do the trick...mine are SL's because I only wear adidas. All Day I Dream About...Smashing arrows =P ///

I play with vans. i dont know what kind. they are old, and beat up. almost to small. but they sopport your ankles great, very comfortably. great for slaming, freestyling, and.... just about anything. there very simple, so nothing get in the way. just make sure that the laces ar tight.
