well tonight with the release of DDR Extreme 2 i was playing for a good 2 hours on my Ignition which ive had for a month, and the arrows started spazing. of course i got mad and then i was looking closer at the pad and noticed that the raised arrows are beginig to sink in. this is the cause of it. the sensor is stuck on it reading that its down. How do you fix this? i know many are having the same problems heres what i did

Each of the arrow sensors measures out to be 10.5 in. X 10 In so cut cardboard ( i did an 1/2 in. ) out for four pannels. open up your ignition pad.

Line each Cut-Out under each arrow sensor, and tape in an aserisk(*) under each sensor, of course you can raise the arrows to whatever height you need. to me this worked, i went from barley getting a B in Dance Master Mode on heaven is a 57' metallic grey on LIGHT to A'ing Speed Over Beethoven on Heavy. it really does work. i just figured i'd help the community.

I had the exact same problem, and to my mind, it's caused by two things: inferior foam inserts and padded carpet. Well, the latter can't be fixed, so I fixed the inside of the pad like so.

The overall dimensions of the pad are 30" x 30". So, I got a piece of quarter-inch plywood that's 29" by 29" (with a slot at the top, of course) and one sheet of cardboard of the exact same size. I duct-taped the cardboard over the plywood and sealed the plywood edges with duct tape before inserting this plywood-cardboard thing between the foam and the arrows of the pad.

A bit more expensive, but it gave me an overall better effect.

between the plywood and arrows...thats a good idea..
i just put it below the foam to make it more sturdy/flat

gotta try that out when i fix it (left arrow broke) and i took it completely apart riiight.gif
