Note: I have reported this error more than once.
Every time I try to modify a machine location, (add a new machine, price change, etc) I come to a white page with this message:
ML_Locations: error in insert
This happens after each time I try to confirm the modification, therefore, the modification does not go through.
Because I have seen other users make modifications to machine locations with no trouble at all, I can only think of two possibilities:
Either my account is wrongfully restricted from modifying machine locations, or I am doing something wrong every time I try to make a change to a machine location.
Please fix this bug or guide me in a better direction. Thank you. |

As I recall, there was a specific error with the entry you were referring to last time, which I fixed.
We really do need more information than just "Oh no its broken my world is falling apart". Browser, OS, what location (link preferably), requested modifications, etc.

Hours of Operation: This business has relocated to the far-right side of the building where an old dance studio used to be. The entrance is on the far-right side of the building facing the front of the mill when driving past it. This location is now officially open! There

So, long story short, you're trying to remove the 2nd Mix?
I tried using a non-admin account, in WinXP Pro, IE 6 (6.0.2900.2180.xpsp2_sp2_gdr.050301-1519), to make this modification - it worked fine for me.
No, we do not have any sort of method in place to forbid users from submitting modifications (outside of ban-check). Since you're not banned, you are perfectly allowed to make modifications.
In plain English, is the only change you're trying to make to that location the removal of the 2nd Mix entry? Are you just checking the Remove box and hitting Submit?

I didn't know it was free. Anyway, I tried firefox at my campus and it still isn't going through. Any other ideas? |

I used IE at the campus, yes.
And I'm not sure if it uses a proxy server, why? |

If your university is running a proxy server, that could be what the problem is, in which case there's not really anything we can do about it.
My office uses a proxy server, and if I'm on the network as opposed to the VLAN, I can't even post to Slashdot.
