anyone know if RedOctane Ignition 3.0 USB works with Stepmania without any further adaptors? This means L+R and D+U combinations as well.

that's what I'm thinking/hoping too... am a little surprised in all these Stepmania Controller threads no one has mentioned anything about RedOctane. The pad gets here in a couple of days so I gotta wait and see.

do you use an adaptor or directly use the USB that comes with it? I tried mine on stepmania and none of the buttons seem to register O_O

Well if it's not working, make sure the thing is mapped out in the input options of SM. I guess that would be my first thought as to why it's not working.
