as said in my earlier post, i have gotten the http://www.innexinc.com/index.php?nav=itemDetail&tablename=ddr&id=22 and i juss received it today. Its pretty good so far E1.gif and i checked the sensors and they arent 2 small strips of aluminum like other cheap pads, so thats a plus i guess. The bad thing is that it has little lights that lite up when u press a buttin, and i believe this is a feature of the TX-1000 too...well i'll post pics later and tell u if it gets worse or not

That actually looks like a very solid pad. At least a step above the afterburner in terms of construction. Do the arrow panels seem durable?

wow! by the way this pad LOOKS it seems better than the AB but not as good as the CB. the panels dont look bowed up. just one problem could occur. the foil rippinng but that could easily be fixed with the sheet metal mod. according to the product description this pad has polycarbonate arrow panels so they wont crack like the TX-1000-2000s. thats what im guessing

the TX series uses polycarbonates, but not all polycarbonates are equal. And, as he said and the pictures demonstrate, it does not use foild contacts.

i thought the TX-1000 though 2000 used acrylic panels that cracked easily

Uhm... That is a peice of conductive FOIL on the bottom of the panels, exact same design and circuit as the tx-1000. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two from that picture. They look like the exact same quality polycarbonate peices, just screenprinted differently. The more i see this pad the more it IS a tx-1000.

The people that make the tx-1000 distribute it to hundreds of online vendors with the option to rebrand it. That's all this is, a rebranded painted tx-1000.

hmm it would suc if it was gonna break easily... well so far so good neway and i dunno if this is supposed to be rite but the tiles bend down to activate the sensor would that be bad??? well they dont seem at all brittle so i guess it wont crack for now...also when i lift the tiles i cant seem to find the led lites newhere so maybe they r under the foam and circuit somehow?

Looks like an 8 button version of a TX-1000. Nice arrow design though.

After about say 2 weeks time, your down arrow will possibly die. Just a heads up.
