I HIGHLY doubt you've AAA-d Bag on 1x Flat and haven't AA-d MaxX Unlimited or Legend of Max. Show a picture and I will shut up.

I've never played bag, but I was looking at the step chart, and are those green arrows triplets or 32nd notes?

Those green notes are 64th notes that are supposed to be triplets. Seven measures down, there is a green then red then green then purple then green again, and those green notes are 32nds. Only on-beat part of the song actually.

I just went to the arcade and full-comboed bag with 55 greats and got an A 1x. Not sure how many I need to get a AA though, should check DDRecall.

But bag doesn't require alot of stamina. I can AA it down to 0.5x and Flat, yet still get a B on MAXX Unlimited and LoM.

Yeah, but there's a HUGE difference between AAing bag and AAAing it. I've been able to AA it for a year or two but I still haven't AAAd it and haven't even gotten that close for that matter.

What Jason just said, I was pretty close to SDGing it (I might have actually), but I was at least a year from AAAing it.

no. It's pronounced Ree-van-gee not ree-vEn-ge. In other words it's pronounced Raven G.

Noooo, actually its pronounced Revenge. Both of them are. Naoki just thought it'd be cool to spell it that way.

Bag is an easy song to read for most but hard to PA because of the odd rhythm. Obviously, for you to consider the song easy to read you have to had played it alot, if not at least like 5 times.

yeah i practiced it a lot on stepmania until I finally got it

i looked it up, RE-VENGE and REVEN G are the exact same thing and their both pronounced like the word revenge. They are both used for foreign ethnical sounding songs. Afronova, Exotic Ethnic, Sakura etc.

The reason that bag is hard to PA is because the steps are triplets quantized as 64ths, sort of like how Tsugaru's steps are triplets quantized as 32nds. This gives it an extremely awkward rhythm. This was yet another one of Konami's stupid ideas.

but paraparaparadise was a capitalization on the (at least at the time) extremely popular eurobeat dance scene. i have no idea how popular it remains today, but eurobeat albums are still comming out about every month or 2, and most (all?) new songs have parapara dances accompanying it. konami didnt make it up; they took an existing dance craze and just happened to make a game out of it. for eurobeat lovers, girls, and people who like looking rather gay, ppp was a cool game.
