I really don't understand why sweat gross people out so much... Ok if you stink, sure... but other than that... it just looks like you went in a shower with your clothes on or something.
Besides, don't girls dream about sexy construction workers sweating while building something? Why not the same about a guy playing DDR/ITG _________________

That's right. You could be 15 years old, 11 months and 29 days, but until you hit 16, all relationships are completely pointless and will never amount to anything. |

Whoa there....... Im an 11 year old but I know that any girl won't like a construction worker in sweaty clothes and who would be stupid enough to wear their clothes in the shower. Anyways I am Half arcade boy only b'cause a girl I like is on heavy but I have never seen her play so im half-doubting she is not on heavy. And if you are a guy QmniQuark, Hang out w/girls alot more... ok??
P.S: And it may be true for DDR/ITG players b'cause mainly they are teens or kids and it may be wrong if it was an adult b'cause not many adults have gotten into relationships by DDR/ITG. |
LMAO!! When someone 11 tells you to hang out with girls more often when you're 23, that's hilarious. I do hang around with girls, in fact, more often than guys.
Btw, who said anything about the construction workers wearing clothes or going in the shower? They are usually shirtless and well built, that's why girls like that, even with the sweat I usually play shirtless, but I can't in public arcades When I play a lot, my shirt will get drenched and stick to my skin... which ends up being a male version of a Wet T-shirt contest hehe. Basically I'm just saying that aside from the smell if there's any, there shouldn't be a difference between water on a shirt or sweat to make it look sexy. That's the logical way though, and I know not everything relies on logic, especially for girls. How many girls will say they want a good guy but they will fall for the jerks, huh? _________________

My theory has always been that sweat indicates effort which indicates athleticism (fitness), which is attractive. Then again, I <3 Sociobiology. _________________

I compliment all players that are good (better than me), it has nothing to do with whether I think they are attractive or not, just their skill levels. Pfft. _________________

When I go to the arcade most of the time the boys don't look at my feet they look at something else. I'm not saying they all look there. But most do. And sometimes they will grow some balls and ask me about DDR. But they mostly don't because they are kitty. Or if they do play they are to shy to talk to me. Oh well they are missing out on a cool friend. |

Hm, guess Ill chime in....
As an "arcade boy" myself, some of this information I can see as true, and other stuff, not so much, or at least..not for me.
Myself, am not shy in any way when it comes to talking to girls who play DDR or any arcade game, actually. Im not shy, nor do I sit there and scribble on a notepad writing down scores and stepcharts. But from my experience with girls and arcades, not much (if anything) has come out of it relation wise, and Im perfectly fine with that. Having a girlfriend that would be as much into DDR as I am might be interesting, but I think in the long run it might end up having a lot of friction in the relationship. _________________

"WOOHOOOOOO!!! YOU GO, HOOCHIE MAMMA!! C'MON GIRL, SHOW ME SOME @$$!!"
This was said to me while I was playing versus with one of my GREAT DDR guy friends. We were just playing "A," and I was finally trying it backwards, and a group of younger boys (they had to be 12-14... immature, to say the very least...) started staring at me and watched me as I began to dance. So, being the jerks that they are, and knowing true DDR folk, just as the speed does double-time they start to yell loudly and excessively all the comments you see above. When all three stages were complete, I didn't say anything to them. But it seemed that they liked that I was ignorant of their comments and played off my cold shoulder.
"Awww! Are you playin' hard to get?? C'mon, babe. You know you want to date me." One guy (he looked like the leader of the group) walked up to me, put his arm around my shoulder and winked at me. "We'll be the hottest couple for the eighth grade. Come on, babe. Give me your number and I'll see you in the junior high tomorrow. Locker 421. Wait for me there."
THAT pissed me off... now I know that with jerks like these its best to ignore them, but I had the best opportunity. I smiled all cute-like, and said "Aw, that's sweet, hun, but I don't think you'd want to date an oldie like me... I mean, 16 is the prime of your years, right? Well, I guess I'm past that, seeing as I'm 17 and already applying to colleges. Your approach was cute, darling, but I think you should actually THINK before you open your mouth." And with that, I left.
I have NEVER again had that much satisfaction, watching that boy suddenly realize that I was WAY older. It was great... I wish I had a Kodak picture of it... ^^ _________________

Meh, even if we don't look, it's useless because everyone will think you look anyway Or if they believe you, they'll think you're either gay, or that you'd be a good friend but not boyfriend. _________________

I said that someone who sweated a lot just looked like he wore his clothe in the shower, that's it. It's not related to the workers nor did I say that anyone was actually doing that.
Basically, visually sweat = water... why would it be gross? That was the point _________________

What! This isn't fair! Most of the girls that visit our arcade don't even wanna give me the time of day. Here you all are saying arcade boys are hot lol come to my town lol. There's like 5 girls that play DDR at our arcade: 2 are like 11 and the other 3 are already in relationships. I occationally talk with them because I figure, hey we already have a common bond, DDR! Normally I'm with my friends so whether a girl comes in or not I'll hang out with them unless: 1) she's alone or 2) she approaches me, then I'll talk to her. _________________
